"First time visiting here and will be the last the staff need some customer skills as clearly non of the staff know what they are doing the manager was very grumpy and rude, the food was terrible the breakfast in the morning took over an hour to arrive and we were the first in there and when it turned up I thought I had ordered for an infant nothing hardly on there, the food in the evening again took over an hour to arrive and wish we never ordered from here the chicken curry my wife ordered was well over cooked looked like been put in a microwave far to long the chips were over cooked the garlic bread was like anemic looks like put under a toaster for a couple of seconds, had to ask for sauces which took over 5 minutes to come when dinner was almost cold never again would I stay or eat here again should of read all reviews before I booked"
"Lovely setting. Food in the restaurant was a bit ordinary. The snacks at the bar were better.
No room servicing unless requested and towel change and bin empty was facilitated by placing these in the hallway. Replacement towels and empty bin were there when we got back.
Asked about a bus to Norwich, but the desk had little idea - there's a direct bus that passes by the entrance to the Manor."
"the hotel itself is great, rooms are spacious and clean we stayed in a superior family room which was great and had a complementary minibar that was re-stocked. the hotels halls however could do with some TLC , a bit of paint would make this a better review. it just looks a little tired in some places. I was disappointed by the breakfast. the Hot buffet was good but the cold buffet was a bit lacking. You can order some extra bits such as a ham and cheese platter separately but that literally consisted of 2 slices of ham and 2 sad looking pieces of cheese. no selection there, no vegetables. Anything over and above and a bit more fancy you had to pay extra for. So if you are a hot ,fried breakfast type you would love it but if you prefer a cold buffet choice you might be disappointed. The fruit and pastries were ok and so were the cereal but I would only rate this 3 out of 5 stars overall."
"It was a good find on short notice just a minute or so from city centre. It included a kitchenette that could be very handy, and a clothes washing machine in the room! Ideal if you plan to stay a few days."
