Very nice friendly, close to the beach you just can walk o take the toktok, menu wiht a variety that can you choose, the hotel very good look ,I just fine air-conditioned liking, is same that them show in the website page.

Cool spot to meet people!
The hotel is nice, there is some good and some less good: + Excellent service by John at the bar! You must go see him for cocktails & local recommendations! + Daily cleaning was impeccable. + Room layout on 2 floors is pretty cool + Three balconies to fit your different moods + Amenities are nice + Great to have the hotel side and dorm options as you will meet a lot of different people + On-site food option is very decent + Mascot (pig) going around the property - Multiple power outages - Hotel rooms are not soundproof - Yoga mats are to be changed / deep washed (very smelly) - You will need a car to get to the beach

This place was good. Great for single travelers in my opinion. It is further from the beach and town in my opinion, I wasn't expecting this. Renting an ATV is definitely the way to get around. This hotel is very americanized and reminds me of Hawaii rather than Costa Rica.

Not worth it
Stayed here for 3 nights after staying closer to the beach. Overall this place is brutal, there is loud music until late in the night on a variety of nights and trucks on the road early in the morning. Rooms were not well maintained, there were nails sticking out of the stairs and hardware missing from the wall for the drapes. The staff was not helpful or very friendly. They have advanced check in but when you show up you have to line up at 3pm where it took another 30 minutes to get checked in so a waste of time. When we were leaving they wouldn’t give us an additional 30 minutes from check out without charging even though the check in was late. Wish I had better news.

The ONLY reason I'm leaving a less than glowing review is was the vehicular noise. Highway 160 hugs the property line and the traffic (dirt bikes and trucks) is unbearably loud at 5:30am. I know that Selina can't do anything about this, but letting people know before booking would be very considerate. You will NOT be sleeping past 5:30am - even with the ear plugs they provide. Other than that, I had a lovely time.

Gorgeous place, needs service improvement
The hotel is gorgeous, just like the pictures present it. There’s always people around at all times and especially in the evenings for the parties. Our room was nice, spacious and clean and although it was right at the main street it got quiet throughout the night so we were able to sleep well. The food we had at the restaurant was good, as well as the drinks. It’s not close to the beach but there’s tuk tuk service in Nosara which doesn’t make it problematic. What disappointed us was the personnel, we didn’t experience friendliness nor willingness to help. Could be because of the high guest rotation, however it took a lot from the overall experience and we see that as an important point to improve - especially considering we payed almost 300€/night.

I loved it. It's a merge between a hostel (which I can only take so long) and a hotel (which I can also only take so long). You get parties, but nothing too late. A bar, option for food all day, a "grab and go" area which is great, but needs more candy options :). The pools are lovely. You can feel at home solo, solo looking to talk to people or looking to bring friends and make friends. Super dog friendly. Staff is awesome. Eddie, is a rockstar. I called while lost, alone and confused as heck with little reception. I got myself more lost somehow and had to call back again. He was kind, patient with me and caring! He also helped upon arrival and during my stay. I enjoyed it so much Im actually going back this week. One NOTE!!! IF YOU ARE DRIVING- From the north do not take the coastal way if it's even maybe rained. I had to go back north after two hours because of a flood on the road. Just a heads up!

Little peace of heaven
Amazing property! Secluded in the jungle. Great vibe, fun activity schedule weekly. One of the best karaoke nights every experienced. If you do not have a car...be prepared to walk quite a bit. Wonderful experience, amazingly huge rooms! Recommend and look forward to returning.

Was a great stay, the property is amazing, maybe a bit old but totally worth the price. Management has many issues with booking and staff is unprofessional

Just okay but great design
I love the design of Selina. Selina Nosara is a bit run down and the service isn’t friendly. The shower head was broken and the drinks are just so-so. But the room cost reflects the issues so I was happy. The front desk and bar tenders need a lesson in hospitality. The pool table cues are bent and just overall this place needs some attention.

Such a unique hostel! Beautiful property and staff were amazing. More of a party atmosphere than others but with how large the property is, it’s easy to find space to relax if that’s your vibe

Place was beautiful, and comfortable. The only problem is that the co-working place was not as they sell it, the place was really small and close with not much ventilation from the outdoor; if someone was on meeting the All room was loud. (Not much recommended to co-work for the price of $12 per day)

Hello Mariana! The co-work is an A/C office space, we cannot have any ventilation from the outside since it's so hot in Nosara. We do have some desk in a shared space and also a little meeting room if you need more privacy, I'm sorry you were awaiting something different.

The shower head was broken. I was placed in a room where you could hear all the traffic from the main room. Walls were thin and people loud. It was once a nice property, but it’s pretty rundown now.

Disappointing and noisy
Stayed for 5 days. Staff were nice, nice having a kitchen, spacious room and decor. Customer service lacking - 3 front desk guys spent most of the morning/afternoon chatting, at night some were cooking and partying with guests. Check in took 15 mins, poor directions to rooms, no pool towels, dirty dishes and cups left for hours in pool area, cobwebs in the room, 1 set of towels for 2 guests which had dust and cobwebs on them. Next to a busy very noisy road, so if you're noise sensitive, it'll be a struggle.

I stayed in a single room by myself and it is NOT RECOMMEND!!! The room was right next to a main road which was very loud and didnt let me sleep much, traffic started early. I asked the fromt dest to change rooms and they said no. I also booked 2 surfing classes and felt like i got screwed, because my second lesson was the same as the first one. Didnt learn anything new. I also paid for a picture to be sent to me and never received it! The hostel is overall beautiful but the experience wasnt pleasent.

You’re able to enjoy the pool at all hours, food is not so great. Bar service and ordering food takes forever. They barely clean at all. Front desk staff are clueless, they have a book for excursions but they do not know how to book them. I had to leave the hostile to book any excursions. The pool was barely clean but you were allowed to go inside at all hours, which was nice.

Beautiful, clean, comfortable and very friendly
Beautiful, clean, comfortable, professional and very friendly. The only downside is that it is quite some way from town / the beaches, so you have to get a tuc tuc or walk 20-30mins in the heat which is not ideal with a board.

Achei um excelente hostel (de acordo com o preço alto que cobra). Quarto bom, cama nem tanto (mas com luz e tomada individual) e banheiro excelente. Limpam o quarto diariamente! Hostel possui algumas atividades gratis e outras pagas. Os valores de comidas e bebidas são bem elevados, e como o hostel está afastado de tudo, vocé nao tem muita opção dependendo do horario. No geral minha experiéncia foi boa!
