"I just returned from a 9 night stay avdchete are my observations: The hotel is very centrally located and just seconds away from the beach and the main bars and restaurants. It has good sound proofing so no disruption to sleep or rest. They have backup power generators so no disruption to air conditioning, hot water etc. There are lots of stray dogs around but they don't bother you. The area felt safe but Blue Velvet has 24 hour security for peace of mind. The restaurant staff are great...

"The ocean view amazing but you had to work for it. Lots of steps. (We stayed in the highest bungalow) There are no roads on the island. You get there by boat. The reception was amazing. Luggage carried off boat. Mango juice served upon arrival. Wonderful staff. Waking up to the sights and sounds of the ocean and birds was wonderful. No air conditioning in our unit but with terrace doors wide open, (they have mosquito netting around the bed, alrhough we didn't need it as it was the first of...

"Surrounding special natural resources, as beautiful beach, gardan,wild forest. The lemurs come to just behind the bangarows! And owners and staff are warmly care every guest. And foods are awesome especially seafoods. We need to take a boat to reach and it's relly good excursions. I wish I would've stay longer, actually I was there only two nights. They have many tours to enjoy your stay. The transportation to the airport was 20 EUR."
