"I just returned from a 9 night stay avdchete are my observations: The hotel is very centrally located and just seconds away from the beach and the main bars and restaurants. It has good sound proofing so no disruption to sleep or rest. They have backup power generators so no disruption to air conditioning, hot water etc. There are lots of stray dogs around but they don't bother you. "I loved my visit to Villa les Orchidées. The hotel was amazing and the staff were more than helpful. My three complaints are very, very minor and would not effect a decision to stay there again, however people should know what they are getting: 1) There is no hot-tub, only a pool. 2) There is no real coffee, only instant garbage. 3) The hotel soundtrack is nauseating. I have a feeling the owner, whom you will more than likely meet, likes it, but its just awful."
