Hotels near Notorious Ranch

"We have stayed at the Barceló 4-5 times. The staff are amazing and the food has improved tremendously since post Pandemic. I will say my husband and I are highly disappointed that the Barcelo no longer maintains the water features for the iguanas next to the buffet due to an ignorant guest that decided to hand feed an iguana, supposedly was bitten and then said they were going to sue the Barcelo. I truly believe the Barcelo should be supportive of the iguanas since they are native to Aruba and are protected. The guest should be banned from the island and retrospectively sued for not complying with the rules to not feed the wildlife. "

"Hotel expansive and overall VERY CLEAN!!! Our Elite room large, very clean with great amenities. Highly recommend Elite level stay. Room cleaned and restocked every day. Staff very nice and helpful. Outstanding variety of very tasty food. Best buffet I’ve ever seen with an enormous variety of delicious food. Beautiful beach and pool. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! "

"Our room was on the eighth floor and had a very large balcony overlooking the ocean and the adjoining property. It was clean, well stocked, and just beautiful. The staff was very friendly and quick to accommodate any requests. We ALWAYS love RIU!!"

"Loved staying in a Tradewinds room. Having the lounge and our own area at the beach was a plus. We will stay here again. Very walkable to the other area hotels. I do wish they had a little more entertainment at night. There is construction going on until Dec. It bothered other people, but the construction didn’t bother us. They sectioned off areas of the pool to work on the patio. But the rest of the pool area was open. We were mostly at the beach though. They also had an area of the hotel where the rooms were closed because they had scaffolding and were renovating. But again, even sitting outside on the balcony it didn’t bother us. Honestly, the Dj‘s music was louder than the construction. That didn’t bother us either."

"First of all, Expedia needs to update the description of the property, its not a hotel, it doesnt have a casino or a spa. However, its a well kept and clean modern apartment building in a safe area, close to the night life, good restaurants, beaches. I was in unit 20, Jessica was very pleasant and accommodating, the unit was modern, clean, roomy and very comfortable. I definitely recommend and would stay there again."
