"i stayed there for exactly 15 minutes and moved out to the hotel Obaldía, which is much better. I did not even ask for a refund. This is a lousy hotel, you should not be advertising it.. I took it on trust since you were listing it, and it was horrible."

"The staff was friendly and nice. The hotel has a restaurant on site which is a plus. I came in from Bocas del Toro and had to catch a flight next morning. It was perfect for the overnight stay I needed. "

The property is undergoing renovations, yet Frank made every effort to accommodate … cooked and served wonderful meals and offered touring suggestions in Puerto. "I liked that the Acala Hotel was different. From the outside it looked like a typical store front, but when you walk inside you're in the hotel lobby. I used rhe stairs and on each level at the top of the stairs was a seating area. It was somethng different. I was exploring just walking around and at the end of one of the hallways was a balcony with a view of the shops on the street. I would recommend the Alcala Hotel. I will stay there again. Also they have a restaurant with very good food. The workers are all very courteous, and helpful. I enjoyed my stay."
