The staff were extremely friendly, always greeting us with a smile, and very helpful throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. "My stay at Cactus Lodge was heavenly. My first time traveling alone from the US (New York), I am so glad I booked my stay here. The place hidden in plain sight, opening up the gate to a gorgeous beach vibe. The hotel rooms were very clean, spacious and well air conditioned. Hot water was almost immediate as you turn it on. It was so easy to confirm excursions through the owner/staff and it is very close to all the nightlife. All of the staff were amazing also. So kind, they made me feel so safe....

"The last review of this property was over two years ago, and I’m not sure where the photos were taken from. Dark, damp and mouldy facilities. Bucket and mop in shower and no toilet paper. I had to leave within the first hour of arriving. There was no mention that this place is a public place for turtles, and there were strangers sitting at your front door. Just did not feel well with the odour in the room. I just hope the turtles have better accommodations."
