"The price was right. Elisabeth was very helpful. The breakfast was excellent. But, the outside of the house needs quite a bit of gardening. Inside the house was cluttered and needs housekeeping. We don’t like talking negative about such a nice host, but with the cleanup listed, this property could be ideal."

"Had a wonderful stay here, so peaceful & lovely location. Cathy & Noel where so friendly, helpful & chatty. Everything was spotlessly clean, a real home from home feeling. The breakfast was simply outstanding with so much to choose from, easy to order and tasted amazing. Would highly recommend this beautiful B & B as you'll not be disappointed."

"This flat was very conveniently located, right in the middle of the shopping district and close to the castle gardens and river walk to Lough Neagh and a 7 minute walk to the train station. There is a free parking lot about a 2 minute walk away, but it is confusing to access by car until you get a bead on how the roads intersect. There is a pay lot that is a bit closer and easier to drive to. Because of its location in a shopping/dining/nightlife area, it was quite noisy late at night and early in the morning, so not a lot of sleep was had. I would suggest bringing ear plugs, or even sleeping on the pullout couch in the rear room, unless you are used to night-time noise. The washing machine was a real bonus, and the amenities suited our needs. The owners run a bakery/butcher shop right below that serves really yummy food. The sausages were fantastic! I'd stay there again - just with ear plugs."

Whether you subscribe to that tall tale or not, you certainly can’t deny that Lough Neagh provides a fittingly dramatic backdrop to the challenge of this tricky course, especially on grey and windy days.
