"The front desk staff were super nice. No issues at all with checking in and checking out. You can tell the property was renovated but yet it need some more fixing up. Our room had a stale smell to it. Our bathroom was not clean enough. The elevators were not working our entire stay. "

"Hyatt Place in Greensboro was wonderful! We checked in right before 3 o’clock and enjoyed our spacious room with a view of the apartments next door. We took advantage of dinner at the hotels bar - The Placery and enjoyed a few drinks and ate their burger, chicken sandwich, Parmesan fries, and our son had the pizza. Everything was delicious! We enjoyed the room having two queen beds and a couch as everyone had a space to chill out. Our only complaints are the too soft pillows, not having a microwave in the room, and the smell of bleach upon walking into the room. We knew we would not have the free breakfast as we had to be out at 5:30 a.m. for a skate competition in town so we had packed sausage biscuits to heat. Thankfully we were able to use the one in the lobby but it was inconvenient. It was obvious the rooms were just cleaned as the maid cart was just a few doors down. The bleach smell took your breath away! The smell was horrible and caused coughing but with a little exhaust fan and perfume we made it work! At least we knew the bathroom was clean!"

"What I like about staying in a small personal business is the feeling of home, a genuine welcome, and a sincere personal touch. The owner (s) greeted us warmly, insisted on carrying my heavy bag, led us to a small but comfortable room with an individual bathroom and a very comfortable fresh smelling bed. There was a framed part of Greensboro history to which our room was dedicated. The owner made us a delicious breakfast of fresh fruit, French toast, an omelet and coffee and sent us off with snacks for the road. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay!! Note: the house is old and homelike so may not be for everyone."

"A terrific stay! The room has really interesting decor and an amazing retro bathroom...loved the bathrobe...great night sleep, too. We had dinner at the Printworks Bistro Bar and as I remembered it from 3 years ago...excellent staff, ambiance and food...Trout for me and a beef bourguignon for my husband...truly amazing. Also, the breakfast of duck confit hash was great! Thanks to everyone for making our layover for our trip back north memorable."
