"Decor seemed to be right out of the 1970s lodge but it added to the charm in some ways. House cleaning did not come as requested one day but they did the next when we made it aware we wanted them to come. Breakfast was good and hot and free. "Oakhurst is an older place, but it has large rooms with clean, comfortable beds for a reasonable price, which is just what we needed after hiking all day. It also has a nice pool and a surprisingly good free breakfast. The only negative is probably the old fashioned air conditioner. It works great, but you can't set a temperature; you just set it to warmer or colder on a dial, and it was a little hard to get it just right.
