"This is a very nice hotel! My only complaint is that I didn’t plan to stay two nights instead of just one here on our road trip. It’s modern, beautiful, clean and comfortable. Luxury at an affordable price. We especially enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. We always try to stay at hotels that offer a breakfast and the fare is usually pretty good. But this was a cut above, fresh fruit with yogurt honey or strawberry topping, freshly made French toast, a well seasoned frittata to mention a few. Also, the man who made and served the breakfast (I wish I had gotten his name) was so welcoming and friendly.
Also, the hotel is located just a 3 block walk to the shops and restaurants of this historic town.
Highly recommend."
"The good: Love the ocean front room. The view is beautiful. The restaurant downstairs is convenient and decent. The not so good: The beach chairs and umbrellas are in a sad state, falling apart. They used to charge for them. They can't anymore, so they now charge $20 plus tax per day to park in their parking lot at the hotel. The design of the double room has the air conditioner blowing on the face of the person in the bed closest to the sliding glass door. The ice machine was down on our floor for the entire trip. The offered beach towels are small mismatched bath towels. We have stayed here for the past 6 years and are disappointed with the recent changes"
"I was in Beaufort for an overnight stay visiting an ailing friend. I was looking for reasonably priced lodging which the Harbour Suites provided. The room was clean and adequate and having a suite with frig, stove and sink a plus. The free parking onsite was also definitely a plus. The suites location is close to the water front and within easy walking distance. These was not staff on site but available. No ice machine on site. I did feel safe in the building as I was traveling alone."
"Everything was great until I pulled back the covers to get in the king size bed and found it was full of sand and very small dark curly hairs. Since I didn’t want to cause a fuss at 1 am with the security guard, who was the only staff available from 7 - 7,
I pulled all the bedding off and slept in one of the twin beds instead. Definitely a one and done at the Atlantic Beach Resort for me. I would ask for a refund if I thought they would issue one."
"I always stay here when I visit Atlantic Beach. Being pet friendly is a huge plus the dogs love the place too. The proximity to the beach is phenomenal. The quiet at night is also very relaxing and it is only minutes to various restaurants. Will plan many more visits in the future."

"This hotel is really a motel. The photos and description did not begin to compare to the actual property. There were stains on both bedspreads, the bathroom tub/shower toilet were badly stained. The room was so disgusting we checked out 15 minutes after checking in, and decided to find other accommodations, which was difficult. The exterior room entrances were not safe. Do not stay at this property unless you're desperate."
"The room was very spacious and clean. We had a nice view of the water. The front desk representative was friendly at check-in. The only complaint was the breakfast brought to the room. You place an order the night before and it's brought to your room. The food was not good. You had to pay for parking as well."
