"Once you are able to park and actually get in, the hotel is outstanding. I’ll get to that later. The rooms are big and very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. A small refrigerator and microwave are in the room. We had a street facing room and it was quiet. The problem is parking and getting in. Parking is a relatively short walk away but you have to register online to park with the city. We should have been told exactly how to do that. It was easy to do, but instructions ahead of time would have been appropriate and less confusing. Also, although we were told an attendant would be present at the hotel between 3 and 6 PM they did not tell us that that was only during the week. When we arrived, the door was locked but the owner‘s wife just happened to be there, but that would not would normally have been the case. We should have been given a code for the lockbox near the other front door, but we weren’t. When the owner’s wife called the appropriate telephone number that there was no answer. She just happened to know another number. In the end, it wasn’t a problem, but if we had just traveled at distance and retired, this would have been very confusing and annoying. But, as I said at the outset once you figure out how to get in you are rewarded with a really nice room. Now that we know, I would absolutely stay there again. "
