"La Placita a small boutique hotel with great accommodations. The rooms were very nice, modern and the location was very convenient. The accommodations were nice, clean, and cleaned well daily. No bugs. The bed was a little harder than we preferred, but a mattress topper made it just right to sleep well.
Kimberly and Michael at the front desk were very attentive and warm. The hotel manager, Angel is very helpful, checked in often, and has great rapport with his staff. He went above and beyond for us, locating a specialty pharmacy in Coxen Hole that carried the medication needed and delivered it within a few hours!!! The staff made it feel safe, supported, and even pampered. (It’s a vacation, after all!) I wasn’t a fan of the musician they had on the weekends, but that may just be my personal taste (or lack thereof.)
Their Le Bistrot restaurant served delicious breakfasts with both American and Central American fare. Excellent fish tacos for lunch. The main server, Edward was exceptionally friendly and became an instant friend. There are a couple of restaurants in the shopping area in front of the hotel that also have good food. The beach is a 3 minute walk, very convenient. There is also a beautiful pool next door with towels and beach lounge chairs included. We would definitely stay there again!!"
