The staff at this property were so amazing. They were kind and attentive. Every time you walked in they asked how they could help, offered you a water, and were happy to provide recommendations. However, the rooms could use some deep cleaning. We had small ants all over the bathroom counter. The sheets were pilled and could use replacing, and the floors need to be scrubbed. Additionally it would be great if they added floor length mirrors in the room. The courtyard could also use some deep cleaning and some more comfortable seating areas where you can curl up and read a book. All in all the stay was fine for the price point, but not particularly comfortable.

Wow! We just left after a 4 day stay at this wonderful boutique hotel! We had the same experiences so many other of the amazingly positive reviews! The hotel is charming and has a beautiful interior courtyard, which is set up for breakfast service. From check-in to check out, the staff was absolutely amazing and their thoughtfulness and kindness throughout our stay was present every day! The hotel is located in a very convenient spot for walking and exploring the city. We would definitely return without hesitation, and encourage everyone else to do so as well!

Exceptional hospitality at this charming courtyard hotel. Each member of the staff went out of their way to make my stay more comfortable. As a solo traveler, I felt welcomed and safe. Highly recommend.

I loved my stay at NaNa Vida Oaxaca. I was treated like family & the front desk staff (Evie, Ale, Humberto, & Christian) were awesome! The hotel is within 10-15 minutes walking distance of all the major sights in Oaxaca Centro. There are fantastic restaurants nearby & the hotel is very clean & quiet. The neighborhood is safe. I enjoyed my stay and would stay her again!

ホスピタリティにあふれたホテルで大満足でした！なんと言ってもスタッフ全員がフレンドリーでどんな質問にもすぐ対応してくれるし、顔を合わせる度に気遣ってくれます。そんなアットホームな雰囲気だからか他の滞在客とも打ち解けられて、素敵なガールズトリップになりました。鳥のさえずりを聴きながら中庭でいただく朝ごはんとコーヒーもポイント高いです。 ローカルアーティストの作品（テキスタイル、ランプ、壁画など）が至る所に使われているのもオリジナルな雰囲気を高めていました。他のホテルにも泊まりましたが、またOaxaca に行く機会があればNaNa Vidaを選びたいです。

What A Relaxing Tranquil Beautiful Friendly Hotel
In the modernized traditional Oaxacan design, beautiful tranquil courtyard with matured big tree to provide shade. Love the traditional wood door, wood window frame with wood shutter. But the big marbel covered bathroom is totally modern, clean and well done. Staff are friendly and eager to do a good job. Love all of them. It is centrally located, Santo Domingo, Zócalo and Mercados are all within a few blocks. Neighborhood is totally safe, even walking in the evenings, never had the slightest feeling being threatened. Definitely will stay here on my next trip early next year.

The location was great, very walkable to our points of interest in Oaxaca. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful and cordial. The room was clean and the mini split AC worked great. The hotel and courtyard were very cute. The included continental breakfast was good. Minor complaints were that the hot water wasn't consistently hot and the power went out briefly (5 minutes) while using the hair dryer. Water pressure was just ok. These issues are probably based on the infrastructure in the old city, not the hotel itself.

This property is fabulous. It's tastefully decorated so that it feels uniquely Mexican. There's a beautiful courtyard where you can have breakfast or read. The area around the hotel is great. There's tons of restaurants and places to shop to get mezcal or handmade souvenirs. It's close to everything you need. The staff is incredibly kind. Everyone knows some English. They helped us get a taxi to the airport and gave us local gifts. They always asked if we needed help with anything or if we needed water.

My stay at NanaVida was absolutely amazing! I really enjoyed our stay and it was exactly what I was looking for! The staff was very nice and very attentive to our needs! The staff made sure our stay was amazing! The location was great. Walking distance to all of the main attractions. Very calm and quite place!we really enjoyed ourselves and relaxed while being here! Breakfast was delicious and the massages / spa was amazing! Definitely 10/10 for this place. Will definitely stay here again. Nuestro hospedaje en NanaVida fue absolutamente maravilloso! The staff is wonderful especially the people at the front desk . They will greet you with a smile and ask if we need anything. They go out of their way to find what ever we ask . We absolutely loved the hotel. The staff was amazing, available, helpful and caring. We only stayed one night because that was all that was available but it was worth it. Ext time we will stay longer. The room was clean. The only thing we wish it has was an elevator. I felt bad for staff helping us with our luggage up and down the stairs. But other than that, it’s was beautiful. We loved it.

Location was great, just on the edge of Centro. The service and staff overcompensate for the property which is showing its age, especially in the rooms which are small and a bit tired. Overall a decent place, but not worthy of its very high rating.

The staff was fabulous from the moment my taxi pulled up the staff came out to get our luggage and welcomed us with a warm greeting. The staff then gave us a space to sit as we checkin. There was an optional mezcal drink with fruit which we drank and they showed us to our room. The room had all the necessities. The courtyard was beautiful and it was perfect to drink your morning coffee and plan out your day. Also, the location is near everything and I felt safe walking to the nearby sites from and to the hotel. Again, the staff was fabulous! I will stay here again.

Evelyn, Ale, Francisco and all their staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. This is my first time in Oaxaca but it will not be my last. Food, stay, assistance was all amazing. I invite you to stay at Nana Vida because you will not regrer it.

We loved our stay at Nana Vida. Since we arrived very late at night Ale gave us a very nice welcome. She greeted us with a gift of beautiful soaps that are handmade and provided us with a taste of Mezcal and any other beverage. The breakfast was delicious every morning and especially the cafe de olla. The location was very close to the centro and the buildings around were beautiful. Evelyn helped us by booking our two tours for the week. She made sure we had water when we left and other beverages when we arrived. Overall we loved our stay at Nana Vida and highly recommend it!! Gracias Ale y Evelyn por todo!!

My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at NaNa Vida! The staff were incredibly kind and thoughtful. Each visitor gets a welcoming and parting gift that are Oaxacan specialties. The rooms are clean and even have noise machines and earplugs if you are not used to the night noises of a city (although we found that we couldn’t hear anything from outside of the hotel). The hotel is within walking distance of all the city central’s main attractions and delicious restaurants and cafes. Highly recommend!

Perfect Hotel for Oaxaca Visit
My husband and I stayed at NaNa Vida Hotel on our first trip to Oaxaca. We stayed in a king deluxe room overlooking their beautiful courtyard. A complimentary continental breakfast was included in our stay. The pan dulce, fresh fruit, orange juice, and coffee were something to look forward to every morning. The location of this hotel is ideal as it is centrally located near restaurants, shops, churches, markets, the city center, and even a laundry facility across the street. You can easily walk to various neighborhoods to site see or book a tour through the hotel if you want to explore outside of the city. The service we received was excellent. Samantha, Ale, Eve, Humberto, Sol and Hilda were so kind to us and always made sure we were enjoying our stay. Organic soap, coffee and bottled water were just some of the items given to us at check-in and during our stay. The staff really made our hotel experience great. If you are visiting Oaxaca, this is your hotel. You will love it here.

Nana Vida is a few blocks from the large shopping area-far enough away that the traffic and noise is reduced. The staff set up our transport each time we wanted to leave. The breakfast was fresh and taste was amazing. There is a security officer all night. The rooms are clean. We can not say enough about the daily staffing and how accommodating they are.
