"We came before the season kicked off so it was quiet with very little open. Thank goodness for the hotel’s restaurant & bar. The food is exceptionally good and the owner & staff are incredible. The

"Very nice view of the lake. Very helpful staff. The rooms have a private onsen hot tub on the balcony. The rooms have tatami and are set up to sleep on the floor. You can request a bed frame to elevate the futon, but it's better to request a bed when making the reservation (although you may enjoy sleeping on a futon, Japanese style)."
