"Very helpful staff. I particularly appreciated the coffee capsule and complimentary drink refills in the room, and our son loves his bull cuddly toy. Small things but felt like we were being taken care of."

"Breakfast was great. Location is very convenient to the train station and old town. The bathroom is teeny. The room is small. The lack of AC could be a deal breaker if it is hot. When we stayed it was just manageable if the fan was left on all night. The hotel is basic but entirely adequate I do recommend it if the price is right."

"The only negative thing about this stay was having to LEAVE!!! This is an amazing property sitting high on the hill with the MOST AMAZING VIEWS!!! I read some reviews about this property stating that it was a struggle to walk up the hill leading to the hotel but it is not that bad. You ARE in Switzerland so there are hills everywhere. The porter service transporting our luggage up the hill on check in day was a nice touch. The very nice gentleman met us at the station and toted our bags up the hill. The hotel is so conveniently located - literally 3 minute walk from the train station in Wengen and so convenient to the cute little village. The view from our balcony was stellar!!! I really enjoyed sitting out there both in the morning and the evening and taking in the beautiful scenery of the Lauterbrunnen valley. I would return to this property again and again (and actually plan to in the future!) The breakfast is excellent and in a beautiful setting. There is a cute lawn area where you sit by the fountain and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The front desk gentleman at check in was so very helpful in giving us info on the surrounding area and helped us determine what to do since we had a really rainy day and he suggested some options. The bonus was the dog (I think a cocker spaniel) who was so cute and greeted guests at the front desk. Stop looking for a place to stay in Wengen - you will not be disappointed in this property!!!!"
