Nice and close to the Obidos Old Town. Free parking in front of the hotel or their parking lot. Breakfast was included which was nice. Friendly reception staff. Room was a bit on the small side but comfortable.

Cute little place, good price
Great check in, front desk person helped us find handicapped parking at the top of the hill, which was such a help. Breakfast buffet fine.

Good stay
The hotel is very well placed for a visit to Obidos. The parking is very good but accessed via a steep slope. The staff very helpful. The room small and very '70's in decor but everything worked. Only disappointment was what should have been an excellent breakfast spoilt by catering staff. A party of walkers went at 8am and obviously enjoyed their breakfast. Between 9 and 10am about 25 people came into the room to find nothing had been replenished. A Portuguese speaker asked for more cooked food and a very small amount was then cooked, there was not enough for all. We had to ask for tea bags and the cereal bread etc was not kept stocked.

Hotel feels old and needs upgrade, Room was old, not big and shutters etc. not functioning good, Toilet not really comfortable. Staff was generally friendly. Breakfast was fair. Walking distance from old city and parking easy.

Stayed in much worse!
Really nice lobby and public areas. First class staff interaction. Excellent breakfast. All pluses. Down sides, very hard bed (realise this is subjective!) and very small shower cubicle. More pluses: Really close to historic centre - an easy walk, free parking a definite bonus.

Location perfect, walkable to the old town. Lovely little terrace and great parking. Covenience store, petrol and outdoor laundromat close at hand. Two larger grocery stores within a kilometer walk away…even a mobile phone shop for SIM card purchases. A con is that the hotel could use some refurbishment. Our toilet seat needed to be replaced.

Regarding your comments, we would like to pass on the following observations: - Our Hotel started as a small guesthouse, in 1998, but the dream grew and, in 2011, we received the classification of 3-star Hotel, having currently 23 rooms with different typologies: double, triple, superior double, family and suite. - We are recognized as a family accommodation with a welcoming environment, with a swimming pool, a garden and an outdoor private parking. - Regarding the need for intervention in the rooms, we always suggest that our guests indicate any constraints, such as the ones you mention with the air conditioning, so that we can assess the pertinence of changing accommodation, or request support from the Hotel maintenance staff. We hope to have, in the near future, the opportunity to receive your preference once again, in terms of accommodation in the town of Óbidos.

Good location good internet
This hotel is close to city center. But far from train station. Front desk told me I should have called them and they will arrange taxi. Hotel has good view. WiFi is strong, no safe box, no refrigerator in room.

Lovely hotel with lots of bonuses.
Room was adequate but bathroom was small. WiFi was good and the breakfast was a bonus. We stayed 2 nights. It is a 4 minute walk to Obidos Castle. There are two big supermarkets 10 minutes walk away. We walked to Obidos train station in 24 minutes but there is also a quicker bus. We did not use the pool. We will stay again.

Very nice and friendly
Great hotel really close to the historic section. Some very nice restaurants are just a short walk away. Then on the other side of the hotel is a large supermarket not far away. Very friendly staff.

I wish I could have stayed longer !
We only spent one night heading from Lisbon up north but it was a perfect choice. Great location just outside the old town walls, clean rooms, helpful and friendly staff and good breakfast. I wish I could have stayed longer. Highly recommended.

We had a room with 2 balconies. One overlooking the back garden and distant fields and the other, the pool area. Room was quiet. Easy parking on street or parking lot provided. Walking distance to walled town. Parking in front to unload luggage. They recommended 2 restaurants in town. We ate at one of them and it was very good. There was an elevator.

Check in by Iliana was great. She was warm and friendly and provided lots of information that made our stay in Obidos amazing. Hotel room was nice and clean, garden area was perfect for Happy Hour.

Great place and a great price.
We only stayed for one night as a stop over in Óbidos on our way to Algarve. We were very pleased with the cleanliness, condition and service. It’s not a 5 star luxury hotel of course but as an accommodation for a few nights, I would definitely stay here again. It was a 3 minute walk to the castle entrance and charming town of Óbidos inside. So the hotel is as conveniently placed as it is clean and friendly.

Great location for the castle
The location is less than 10 minutes to the Castle and 2 supermarkets in the opposite direction and in a residential area. The check in was quick and the receptionist was very efficient covering all the information you would need for your stay. Our room was ready early which was great. The room overlooked the beautiful garden area. There is a welcoming breeze through the window but it can be quite noisy if you leave the windows open. There were many Engish TV channels and the wifi was very good. The ensuite was small but sufficient but no shelves to place toiletries. The breakfast was good. We would recommend this hotel.

Very accommodating
Just an overnight stop but the hotel was very comfortable and clean. It is just outside the town walls and free on sight pRking is available. Breakfast was included but when we were said we needed to leave before the breakfast was served they kindly served us early. Great service!
