The elevator in tower one broke as soon as we got all of our luggage to the fourth…..the staff kindly moved us to tower 2!! Although the hotel is dated everything was in working order and clean!! The ocean view is beautiful!!!

My one complaint would be the lack of emergency lighting in the stairwells. Power went out and it pitch black going down the stairs. Also, the water in the shower was extremely hot.

I was going to Ocean City for a music festival and rented a room here. At check in the front desk person seemed annoyed that we were there. We were then told our room was in the wrong building. There are 3. The room itself has a nice set up with sofa, table and chairs with 2 beds. But we were hit with the smell of mildew as soon as we walked in. The bathroom was dirty, there was hair on the sink, counter and tub. The towels looked dirty but smelled clean. Same with the sheets on the bed. There is only a flat sheet and a super thin blanket on the bed. We stayed for 4 nights. One of the 2 room keys we were given stopped working after the first day. It worked as a place to sleep after a long day of dancing. But I will not be staying here again.

The staff is polite and helpful. The room was nice, had sand on the floor from a previous patron. But otherwise fine. The bathroom was clean. The linens were clean. The pool was OK. Cloudy water. But otherwise OK.

Balcony door handle broken and can’t lock it. Both blankets are visibly dirty with stuff on them. Looks like mold on the shower head. Sounds like a monsoon outside the door to get into our room. Blankets are very thin. Looks like a cloth table cloth. Water thing broken in shower (turns water on/off). No microwave despite saying there was one. No phone in room. Took our towels from previous day and didn’t replace them. Went to get more and told there were no clean towels and to call front desk to let them know. Front desk had been full with people having trouble checking in.

I was required to pay a $100 deposit, which was fine, when checking out, we were told the deposit would be refunded. It has been a week later and that deposit has cleared my bank and you can not get through to their front desk. I have called the number several times and it’s an AI system that answers, I ask for the front desk, she says she’s transferring me & you get another AI system saying “thanks for calling kings something hotel”. I want to know why my deposit was kept when nothing was wrong with the room & I was told I would receive this back! This is very annoying & now out $100 for absolutely no reason.

The views were the best part of the hotel, but the TV was spotty at best flickering in and out. There were lights in the room that did not work in the bathroom the nightlight hairdryer just fell off the wall. There was no iron in the room. This property was terrible. I paid for pool view but there are no rooms with a view of the pool. The room was old and dirty. Had to decide if I should unplug a light or charge my phone due lack of outlets. Toilet paper holder was missing the bar and when questioned was told that the holder is so old there is no replacement available. Knob to adjust temperature in fridge was missing so my food spoiled. Every inch of room was filthy.

Good and cheap, but needs updated

The room was nice for what ya get, but needs a lot of updating all around. Patio door was broke, shower head is old and wearing, some pillows had like lipstick looking stains on them, and no matter what we tried to do the WiFi wouldn’t work for the tv and kept unconnecting from our phones. I will say the beds were comfy, view was great, and most things in the area were very accessible and nearby. If you are looking for a cheap stay and not worried about too much except a comfy bed and cable tv with being close to the beach this would be your spot.
