"We have stayed at quite a few hotels around Grand Central and this one was nice! Minus the destination fee. Seems extremely unnecessary. The staff was pleasant and the gentleman that took off care of our car was great. The valet part was expensive but it was worth it. As for the room, great size, bed was comfy and the bathroom was a great size. The bathroom had everything needed but the shower hardware was a little confusing and the water took a while to heat up. The temperature control knob was slightly hard to adjust and getting the right temp was not fun. The shampoo/conditioner/body wash were just ok. A bit too peppery smelly for me and a slightly too watery. Unfortunately, the wooden floor in the main room needed sanding. I got a large sliver walking over to the desk. Also, there is no closet or real wardrobe. There is a very large mirror with a hanging area hidden behind it and behind that was the ironing board and iron. The TV was on top of a dresser but the top had a brassy grid around it which made watching TV difficult if sitting on the couch. The furniture was a bit beat up and there were stains on the couch cushions. The AC worked great and there was enough lighting thru out the room. Really liked the light in the shower area. Perfect for a late night trip to the potty lol. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will stay there again."
