"We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary at the Cannery Pier Hotel and had the best time! The staff is so friendly and the amenities are outstanding. The location is perfect as we walked along the boardwalk to and from downtown Astoria with ease. The chef at the omelette station made the most delicious omelettes…very generous portion. I highly recommend staying here. "

Very Pleased

"Very pleased with my overnight stay. The hotel has shared toilets and shower rooms. This place does it very well. The room was spotless. No “smells”. There is a ceiling fan and windows that open-a lovely breeze to sleep with. The bed was very comfortable. There is a sink in the room which I found made it more comfortable. I enjoyed my stay and will go back. I highly recommend."

"I was very impressed with the customer service at the Lloyd Hotel. My partner and I were taking a few days of vacation to celebrate some milestones, and were looking for somewhere clean, comfy, and relatively affordable, somewhere near both the Columbia River and the ocean. This was it. Room was very clean, bed was soft, and the bathtub was more than adequate. The included breakfast was above average for a hotel, and the complimentary salmon chowder and fresh baked cookies were a surprising but very welcome bonus. Book early to get a good price, but definitely stay here if you're looking to explore Astoria for a few days or more."

My overall experience +places to eat.

"When I got there I realized i had picked the wrong wing, i told the staff behind the desk of my moms problems and they found a suitable room for us in a quick, professional, and efficient manner. The East wing doesnt have an elevator, only the West wing does. Everyone was so friendly and understanding. Checkout after 2 nights stay was great and when I forgot some stuff in the room they let me back in to obtain it. They do charge $50 deposit temporarily ontop of the room fee but you get it back on your card within a week after your stay is over (unless you charged stuff to your room, then it is less back). The view was amazing. The distillery taste testing was a great experience (I recommend the Rhubarb Elder flower Liquor). The heated pool was nice, it only goes down to 4½ft though. If you want a great place to eat for your dollar then i recommend The Breakfast Club for breakfast, El Compadre for Mexican food for lunch, and The Lost Roo for dinner. The Breakfast Club and El Compadre have separate burners for seafood and shellfish so if you are allergic then these are the two places to go. The Lost Roo has mixed burners though so i couldnt eat there, but when i asked the people there were upfront and honest about it. They were very accommodating when it came to my mom's health issues too. Overall the stay and experience was one of the best i have ever had. "
