"I am very happy with the staff everyone from the front desk to the cleaning crew. Everybody was kind and helpful so my review is not about them at all because they were excellent. The room was one of the cleanest rooms I’ve been in and even when I stayed there for a couple days after the busy time I saw how they cleaned the rooms as I walked down the hallways and they were very thorough so I am very happy and pleased with the cleanliness and helpfulness of the staff. Now this seemed like a very old not very well maintained Hotel and I don’t blame the staff for this at all. I think it’s definitely an owners decision because they would have to be going to their hotel to see your property and see what’s going on with it. From every single door needing a very strong push or a very strong pull to open because they’re so damaged or old that I even struggled with the glass doors, to the clogged drains in the rooms and a sink that doesn’t work in the ladies restroom in the first floor, to the loud foot steps you can hear from the people above your room from probably just walking, to just random little things around the hotel that are just outdated and falling apart. Ooh! The ice machine wasn’t working and my fridge in my room when I first got in there had a leak, but then rattled so much it woke me up in the middle of the night. Maybe not a full renovation but definitely some good TLC and good maintenance to keep that place comfortable."

"Overall we had a great stay. On check in day we got into town 40 minutes early (2:20pm) and decided to see if a room was available already. There was. However we did have to pay an early check in fee ($15). We were tired of driving and paid. The hotel staff was kind and there are sooo many great amenities especially if traveling with a group or kids. They have a nice pool, great seating area, hammocks, outdoor games and volleyball net. They have a virtual game room but we did not use this. Breakfast was great. The offer waffles, yogurt and some toppings, breads and muffins, cereal, eggs, sausage, and potatoes. The lovely breakfast lady was so sweet and working so hard to keep everything stocked. The only issue we had was we were given 1 big towel for a family of 4. We didn't know that until we finally got back from the beach and were all showering. We went to ask the night desk for more towels and they refused us because it was after 11pm. I was so confused that they couldn't access towels for guest. The also set off the alarms (sooo scary in the middle of the night with 2 kids) when I called the front desk to ask of it was a real emergency the guy that answered laughed and said I'm not sure. I said how are you not sure. He chuckled again and said if it goes off again its real. I'm sure you can imagine how well we slept."

"The breakfast bar was fantastic. Overall a pleasant stay; however, the toilet was only 12 inches high, I'm 6ft 4 in and 67 yrs old, quiet the challenge. Be prepared to pay $20/night to park! This is the first time I have ever paid to park at a hotel where I have booked a room (you would think it would be included)."
