"Stayed in Ekaterina II for 3 days in October for my GFs birthday. I was very impressed - the ace is nice, clean and is very centrally located, a 1 minute walk to the "Duke" monument. Dozens of restaurants around the corner, great walking places too. What truly made the stay special is the people who work at the front desk. Pleasant, professional, always smiling (not a given in Ukraine) looking to help with any question or request. The cherry on the cake was the present they gave my GF when...

"There was no elevator with quite few stairs to room. My room was too large for just me; my fault not the hotel. The Amsterdam Hotel's location was fantastic; but the Amsterdam is basically a very busy noisy indoor/outdoor bar with some rooms up a lot of steps. Food and service at the hotel was not very good."
