"This is a beautiful hotel, in Óbidos, a very unique and special place. The location is perfect for exploring the area, just outside the walls. This hotel distinctly celebrated books and the building was formally a convent. The food was delicious and the bed very comfortable. The only challenge is the stairs are very cumbersome for luggage. I ended up just pulling out necessary items rather than lugging it up several staircases. That, and parking, but it is a medieval city, so use judgment of where to leave your car. I would have liked to stay longer at this property."
