"This was the best B&B in the Alsace area. Christina and her family are amazing at presenting a local breakfast, assisting with creating tours thru the area, and recommending delicious foods and places to eat. If you want an experience that will last a lifetime, I would definitely stay here. Her mother is an angel, and they are so inviting. It was like staying with good friends. "When I arrived, it was after front desk hours. My room key was attached to a name tag located on a shelf in front of the office check-in window. Unique, but it worked. The room was clean and functional. Breakfast was served buffet style. A "lake" across the street was almost not visible from the hotel. Parking in front of the building was adequate. Hotel is ok for a one-night stay. I felt it is a bit overpriced. The lovely town of Baden-Baden is nearby (driving distance)."

"The staff, breakfast, bar, and proximity to the Gare du Strasbourg train station were all very good. My room was very clean and spacious (I had booked a larger room). My only complaint with the room was the shower. Those expecting a stand-up shower will be disappointed as there is only a bath tub with no shower glass. In addition, there is a shower hose, however, it only reaches waist high so one has to either take a bath or kneel in the bath tub to shower."

"We had a lovely stay at the Hotel Rohan. It's literally thirty steps from the Cathedral, and minutes away from maybe a dozen nice restaurants and cafes, so we easily went out and went back to the hotel to pick up things we forgot, wanted to drop off, or just to put our feet up to reconsider out next move. To get to Petit France on one side and the Neustadt/Place de la Republique on the other side were both within 15 minutes of the hotel and very pleasant walks on the river bank or through wonderful cobblestones streets with more shops and cafes. The staff were kind, we mostly talked with George at the reception who checked us in and worked every evening we were there. He was very welcoming and kind - we checked in daily with him for restaurant recommendations and followed a couple of them and both were very good. Our Superior Double room was very reasonably sized for European standards and especially since we were right in the center of the old town one might have anticipated smaller rooms. The other very nice thing about the room was the large amount of shelf and storage space in the room and in the bathroom so we were able to lay out our things and settle in for the stay. The night tables are quite small, and the lamps are pretty low quality plastic and falling apart - easily addressable issues that I encourage the hotel to fix. The bed was comfortable, and the room and hallway was quiet. We did not dine at the hotel, but the dining area looks modern and quite nice."

"Staff at this hotel are friendly. The breakfast is your typical continental breakfast. Pastries, lunch meat cuts and cheese. The coffee machine could make lattes and espresso in addition to regular coffee. The elevators were both out of service on Sunday when we left, only one was working our entire stay. Location is prime for train travel."
