Everyone at the lodge was super friendly and helpful. Was nice to check in and the heater was already on and room was nice and warm. Did not like the noise of people talking late at night, walls are quite thin.

I love Kings. One of my favourite places in Ohakune. Good accomodation, the spa is awesome after a day on the Hill. Our ensuite shower was a bit cold however, that would be my only issue. Perfect, otherwise!

Staff were great, but don't believe that you will be able to get a proper night's sleep at this place. The walls are so extremely thin that you can hear the next door people chew. The family room is cramped and definitely not enough space for a 4 person family. There was dead cocroaches under the bed and heaps of spiderwebs. The restaurant was fine, except for the body hair in my daughter's food. We won't be going back to Kings Ohakune as it is really not family friendly.

Overall pleasant stay. Great shower pressure and the food in the pub was nice. The apartment we stayed in however could do with a make over- doesn't look like any work had been done on it since the 1980's. It was a nice surprise to find a drying room for all our snow gear which was great!
