"This is a beautiful hotel from the online pictures. When I was unable to attend and attempted to cancel over 48hrs in advance, I was transferred between departments for days with a (Will respond within 72 hours). Still have not received response or refund. Would not recommend. "

"Room was very clean and as described. Front desk staff was very helpful at checkin. We were traveling with our children and dog due to not having power for multiple days. "

"This room was the worst room that I’ve ever stayed in. It was dirty, it had poop on the bathroom wall, the shower curtain had black mold all over the shower curtain, stains on the sheets, the room stunk, and the bed was broken. There was no light in the elevator hallway, the elevator sounded like it was on its last leg, stains all over the carpet, and the wash clothes were stained up. It was completely disgusting and I will NEVER stay there again. "

"Premier Suites Independence, located at 6025 Jefferson Dr., Independence, Ohio was TERRIBLE. The conditions of this hotel were unacceptable, unsanitary, and unsafe, particularly given that both my sister and I have asthma and are recognized as disabled under the State of Ohio. Upon entering the room, we immediately noticed that the room was extremely dirty. There was significant dust buildup in the heating system vents, which is a serious concern for individuals with asthma. Additionally, the heat in the room did not work, creating further discomfort. Most concerning, there were roaches/bedbugs in the room. We killed two roaches/bedbugs (so mine said it looked like a bed bug not a baby roach) and attempted to kill a third, which escaped through a crack in the wall. This created an unsanitary and distressing environment that made it difficult for us to feel safe or comfortable staying in the room. Due to a power outage in the area because of the heavy winds on Friday, March 13, 2026 all hotels were booked. This caused us to be stuck there. I was able to make a reservation at Comfort Inn the following morning, but again, due to the power outage the room was not available no sooner than 4 pm today. There were also several safety and service issues: • No telephone in the room, which is a safety concern. When we requested one from the front desk, we never received it. This forced us to walk back and forth to the lobby whenever assistance was needed with a disability!"

"some sketchy stuff occurred during my stay where someone was repeatedly banging on the door of the room by me around 1 in the morning and after about 8 minutes of it, I called the receptionist and all he said was “i’ll see what I can do about it…”. "

"Horribly nasty. I walked in looked at the room took pictures of the filth and walked out . They were rude and didn't want to refund me. I never stayed there. Dog piss on the sides of the bed, stains in the sheets, poop on the sheets , floors were disgusting and sticky. . the only chair in the room had fresh white stains and God knows what that was in it. Curtains were filthy with what looks like old blood on it. It was horrible. I've put in a dispute. Unless you don't mind sleeping in or on God knows what, don't go there"
