"We had a wonderful stay at the Fairfield in Dixon. my family and I really enjoyed our time there.
The pool was a big hit, the breakfast was great each morning, and the staff went above and beyond by giving us a sweet Easter basket, which was such a kind and thoughtful touch. That gesture really made our stay feel extra special.
Everyone was welcoming, and the overall experience was comfortable and enjoyable. We’d gladly stay again."
"When we arrived to our room at 5:30pm, 2 1/2 hours after the time we could check in, the bed was not made, there were dirty towels and wash cloths in the tub. Went to front desk since the phone wasn’t working to call guest services. Told clerk the issues, she said they were full so couldn’t change room, but would contact the owner to see what he could do. She explained the issues and mentioned this was the 2nd time this week this has happens. Owner who is international, claimed it was clean just give bedding. she said she can not leave desk, housekeeping gone but could maintanance do it. He said yes. 90 mins later, 7pm, clerk came and made up bed, brought towels. We spoke about refund which she said would not happen due to owner not easy to work with plus booked through 3rd party. Totally did not use the tub or shower after dirty towels in there and jets in tub filthy. Coffee pot not cleaned in room. Did not go to pool and didn’t eat breakfast as we left as early in the morning as we could. Disgusted! Would not recommend. Clerk was not at fault here, very nice. "
"This property is not in the best area, the desk clerk was quick to tell me the hotel accepts NO responsibillty for cars in the lot when I asked how safe is the parking area. The property is run down, needs a remodel, my room smelled like cat urine, I had to sleep in sweat pants and shirt because the the heating/AC was so loud that you could not sleep with it on. No elevator, my room was upstairs, single ply toilet/wax paper, not a place I would recommend."
"there was a distinct smell of cigarettes in the lobby. The TV did'nt work. The breakfast was terrible and sparse. The whole place looks neglected. The staff were not professionally dressed. I was there with a team for athletic competition. Breakfast was inedible for them. "
