"We had a king w/kitchenette room. There were no pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc. If you want to use the kitchenette, you must bring your own cooking supplies. Luckily, we were only there one night and had no plans to use it (there was no mention of the need to bring your own cooking supplies when reserving the room on Hotels.com.) The employee working in the breakfast area kept it very clean. The breakfast was okay. The girls at the front desk were very friendly and said, "Have a good evening" when we left for the evening, "welcome back" when we returned, and thanked us for staying there when we checked out. Overall, our stay was good."

"Everything was really nice, the problem was staying on the 2nd floor the person on the 3rd floor above my room was a heavy foot person or heavy weight. They walked back and forth from 3:30 until 7:55 non stop sound like they were going to fall thur the ceiling then early morning around 4:36 until I couldn’t sleep Never stay on the second floor. I understand your staff can’t do anything about it. So over all 100 percent excellent"

"The hotel is unique and wonderful. It is an unmanned property, so you won’t necessarily see another person while you’re there. You’ll receive a door code when you arrive, and instructions on where to find the key to your room. There is a large common room with kitchen facilities and room to gather and relax. Our room was large, clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The ceiling fan helped to keep us comfortable, as did the air conditioning unit with a remote control. Shampoo, conditioner body wash and hand soap were all provided, If we every happen to pass through Okemah, OK again, we will definitely stay at the Velvet Woody!"
