"Heima Holiday Homes are located just a short drive from town, and offers supreme serenity and great Mountain View. Self-checkin was hassle free. The home was fully furnished and equipped. Floor was heated, including bathroom floor. We especially enjoyed the company of the property’s two friend dogs who came by my cabin and played ball with us (the dog brought its own ball to ask us to play, so cute!) The only one thing I would ask for is a little shelf in the shower area for us to place our own...

"This place was terrific! Nice clean room, very comfortable beds, excellent price compared to others in the area, and location was superb. Would definitely stay here again when in the area. "

"This was the coolest place we stayed in during our entire trip. The room had everything we needed & had some very fun surprises built in as well. The wind was super strong during our stay but we still slept soundly. It’s about 30 minutes outside of Selfoss, but it is absolutely worth the stay.
The northern lights viewing space at the top of the tower is incredible! It’s quiet, cozy & has seating all around. We met one other couple while we were there & they showed us some amazing photos they...

"The accommodation looked exactly like the photos and was spotless.
It was located right next to Kerið Crater, making it easy and convenient to step outside at night to watch the northern lights.
Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time to enjoy the hot tub, which was a bit disappointing.
It’s definitely a place we would love to stay at again and highly recommend to others."

"I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Laugarvatn. The staff was incredibly accommodating, always going above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located near Geysir and other major Golden Circle attractions, which made exploring the area so easy. There’s also a path for a mountain hike right across from the hotel, which was a great bonus and made the stay even more memorable. The peaceful setting by the lake added to the experience, making it a perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. I would definitely stay here again. They also have great coffee!!!"
"We loved our stay at The Greenhouse Hotel. Parking right outside the door made everything easy, and the complimentary breakfast was fresh, delicious, and such a great way to start the day. Our room was cozy, comfortable, and perfectly on‑trend. The whole hotel has this eclectic, fun energy that makes it feel special. After long days of hiking, coming back to the lively food court and bar area was such a treat — so many great dinner options that kept everyone in our group happy. A wonderful stay all around."
"The beans and the bacon were both cold and this was at 7:35! I would not be expecting this. Supposedly they were in a heated dish. They definitely were cold however!
Staff were quite blunt when asked about gym timings. Nowhere even in their own website does it state timings, so disappointed when wanting to use it at 7;30 before leaving for the day and told I can’t due to rooms above. I understand that but either sound proof the rooms or make it clear on both their own and third party websites the limitations! Hot tub was not in use either, supposedly due to weather. Again something that needs to be informed on third party websites, also that April is classed as winter in Iceland "
"The rooms are not large but they are clean and atmospheric. The amenities were good, we used the hot tub and ate at the bar which was more family friendly cuisine (and prices) than the restaurant. Breakfast was fantastic. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and assisted us when we had a flight cancellation."
