"The villa was spacious and looked nice from the outside. Inside the spa bath was dirty with dirt marks and the shower gel and shampoo dispenser was empty. We asked reception to clean the spa bath and fill the dispenser and they just gave me mini shampoo bottles etc. They said as for cleaning depends if staff are available. I asked for a hairdryer they said its been stolen. We requested a late checkout and lady demanded us to be out on time as they had big group coming to stay. The next day they made the bed but left the rubbish and provided no fresh towels we had to collect them There were 2 guys staying at villa next door who chucked meat in our bins so bin guy had to take away bin he said he almost vomited. On the last day there were flys in the villa plus cockroach and bugs in spa bath. The lady also advised the outdoor pool was under maintenance and closed so we couldnt use the pool and the bistro was closed. The accomodation was very far from shops and tourist atrraction. It seemed the staff only wanted to do bare minimum. The accomodation was average and run down. On the morning of our late checkout the reception called me at 10.30am as they forgot we had requested late checkout. I felt they were implying us to hurry and leave. We didnt feel welcomed. I was really disapointed! It was a clear case of false advertising and i dont recommend staying here for the price. The customer service was appalling and one lady was rolling her eyes at reception."

"Room Type: Deluxe Studio, 4th floor (upgraded from King Studio). Not too noisy. Very good value. Nights Stayed: 6 Location: 5/5. Very close to Woden Shopping Centre (which has Coles, Woollies, Hoyts movie theatre & lots of shops) and the Hellenic Club, lots of food choices nearby. Bedroom: 4/5. Bed was firm, very comfortable. Side tables with lamps on both sides. Room very dark at night. Limited hanging storage. Had iron & (small) ironing board. Staff: 4/5. Good. Assisted with extending stay by two days. Lifts: 5/5. 3 quick lifts. Shower: 3/5. Rainfall style. Good heat but limited strength. Laundry Facilities: 3.5/5. Combined w/machine and dryer. No clothes drying rack. Kitchen: 3.5/5. Fine. Mini Fridge, oven, stove top and microwave, toaster and kettle. Half sized dishwasher. Limited cutlery. General Room Conditions: 4/5. Clean. Only two chairs, one with small coffee table, the other with desk. Airconditioning was fine. Also, Expedia site said that access to a nearby Gym (at discount) was available – this is not the case, only applies for Abode Belconnen, apparently). No. 10 Restaurant on the ground floor was fine, reasonable selection of food (I only had breakfast there). "

"Cabin was good but not cleaned properly. We found that the floor is not mopped and is really dirty. Cocroch are to be found. "

"The room was not clean, the linen was smelly, the staff was not helpful. We booked accommodation for 4 people for 3 nights, I went to reception and told them the linen was smelly, the staff gave me new linen and told me to change it. Everyday we have to ask reception for toilet paper. It is first time staying at Forest Hotel and Apartment and last time too. Will nerves come back here. Would not recommend for anybody to stay here."
