"The room was spacious and clean. Bed, pillow, and linens very comfortable. Good TV options with premium channel as well. Tasty continental breakfast with all options available. I liked the waffle maker and extra toppings for oatmeal and waffles there. 24 hour brewed coffee on tap plus water and lemonade. We’re definitely going to see about staying there next time we’re in the area."

"We decided to do a last minute white water rafting trip in Ohiopyle, PA. The Lodge at Chalk Hill was just what we needed! A clean and comfortable spot to rest our head for the night. Our room looked to be recently renovated. The front desk staff was friendly and engaging. Although we weren't there long and didn't get to explore the area thoroughly, we will definitely be back and plan to book again with the Lodge at Chalk Hill!"

"The stay was fine. There is no on site staff, but there is a helpful young man if help is needed to get into the room. Quite rustic, and it does need to have some maintenance work done. If you're older, know that the stairs have a higher rise per step than is standard, so you may want to get a room on the first floor rather than the second."

"You won’t regret staying here! Very clean. Good selection in tv channels. Great view. Great out door sitting area. Could be a very romantic place without children. We were here with our 2 daughters (12 and 23) and they both enjoyed many aspects of the hotel. Small pool but we didn’t use it. Appealing and perfect for adults. Fine for kids 12+. Younger kids could get bored but the pool would probably help. Friendly staff. I highly recommend."
