Ideal location, between main station and town center, close to two tram stops. Large room, comfortable except for the fact that the double bed turned out to be two single beds, apart from each other. Didn't have time for breakfast due to early starts, so probably missed something good.

Location is good . No fans . If you open windows lots of noise . Kettle full of scale and area around the sink very dirty. Booked 3 rooms . Same condition on all rooms . One room was very small but charged the same

Totally Overpriced! It’s worth €25 per night! Basic rooms with cheap furniture! No Gym! No breakfast included in the price! Hard cheap low quality beds and a dirty bathrooms with insects. Good location 10 mins walk from the main square

Not good enough for a couple with one kid
We didn't have a very good experience with the room. The heating was excessive, the bathroom had black patches between the tiles (maybe mould?), the shower corner was quite small. We booked our stay for two adults and one child. However we got a room with two single beds and no extra sleeping arrangement for our 4yo son. They offered a bed onsite for an extra one third of the price. To be fair we don't know if this was a problem with the hotel or with the booking system of hotels.com. The breakfast was quite good, although the serving area was uncomfortably narrow. One small inconvenience was that only one of the coffee machines was working, so some of the options quickly ran out and took long to be refilled.

Decent enough but overpriced
Nice refurbished old hotel. Soundproofing not great though as got woken overnight by noisy neighbours! Overall I thought it overpriced for the facilities and condition.

The Hotel Palac is in a very convenient location, close to the train station and just a few minutes walk to the center of Olomouc. The hotel is comfortable and quiet, and the breakfast is very nice. I found it a wonderful choice during my short visit. I'd definitely stay there again.

If you are driving, parking is free just the other side of the river from the hotel. The hotel is just inside 'the city' and after 9.00am parking is limited to 15/20 minutes. Do yourself a favour and park a few minutes walk away unless you know you will be gone by 9.15.

Great hotel, great location
Check in was a breeze, front desk spoke English well, the hotel is in a great location for the historic town center, room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was great, and they held my luggage there after my checkout since I didn't leave town until the afternoon. I would happily stay there again.

Clean & convenient to facilities .
Sensor lights in bedroom annoying - would rather on off switch or even a room card to operate on off function . The sensor light was annoying going to bathroom at night & when using wardrobe or long mirror as had to keep waving limbs to activate ! Otherwise room was clean , basic & functional . Hotel was in a convenient location . Staff polite and helpful .

Comfortable and modern hotel near the city center.
Large and comfortable apartment with kitchenette and modern furniture, helpful staff, parking possible on the nearby streets (there are a few places just in front of the hotel, but all are with payment to the parking meters, not so far to the old center. We took an excellent dinner at Restaurant Goliáš, close to the hotel on 1st of May street.

Stayed with family for 3 nights. Nice clean hotel. Breakfast was decent. Hotel is very close to city centre and tram stopping just in front. The only minus is that hotel giving 2 single beds for 2 adults and a 3 year old and in second room a double bed for 1 adult and 2 children aged 5 and 6 years. Had to pay 15 euro per one extra bed per night.

rooms not cleaned daily But towels chsnged daily.
I was very hsppy with the staff they went out of their way to accomodate my tequests. Apart from the noise of the street upgradong that woke you up but this was temparaly . Apart from the gact that the rooms wete not cleaned daily but only bef made and towel changed and lower market toileties the dtsy was good. 6.7 out of 10

Well located hotel for a good price
We stayed in the hotel Palac just for 1 night. The hotel is very well located in a walkeble distance between train station and city centre. The room was relatively clean with a small kitchen. In the evening we could listen people speaking outside of the pub, which is just next to the hotel but the rest of the night was calm. Good breakast.

Nice location
Lovely hotel, clean and quiet, in a nice location in Olomouc. Very nice for the price, which included breakfast. Rooms are quite generous, with a small kitchenette. At the moment, the road outside is being completely dug up and upgraded, so walkways are unpaved, and a bit inconvenient.

Excellent Hotel - Fun Location!
This hotel was excellent. It has earned every bit of this 5 star rating. The hotel staff was extremely nice. They pulled out a map of the area and marked interesting locations, helped us to find nearby parking, and even moved our laundry into our room when we were in a time crunch! Aside from the staff, the location was excellent. Parking was tough, but I think a lot of that was driven by construction. There is a haunted house around the back side of the hotel, several fun bars, lots of places to eat, and quite the night life. A fun spot to be sure. The room was also one of the most luxurious rooms I have ever stayed in, located in one of the most luxurious looking hotels I have ever stayed in. It was a positive experience from step 1 all the way through check out. Definitely one of my favorite hotel stays ever and this will be the first spot I recommend to someone heading into the city or nearby Plumlov for the annual Great Moravia event.

Hot Weather Warning! Hotel Palác does not have air conditioning or have fans. The window opens, but there is no circulation. The bugs may come in as there is no window screen. Expect to sweat at night and not be able to sleep well. This will affect your sightseeing plans. It is in an ideal location - close to town center/sights, restaurants, and public transportation.

Great hotel with modern facilities close to the beautiful historical centre of Olomouc. It is also a short walk to the main station and is located close to several tram lines. The staff is very friendly and the room I had was very spacious with a large bathroom and a small kitchenette.

Very friendly welcome, and very helpful, even prepared me a map with her favourite sites, pubs and restaurants. Simple breakfast but fine for me. Small room but clean and comfortable. Close to all the sites and walking distance to the train station. A bit pricey for this hotel though.

Nous avons eu un appartement dans les combles. Malheureusement les fenêtres en haut n'étaient pas équipées de stores. Les draps ont été changés seulement pour la dernière nuit (sur 6) et le lit n'a jamais été fait. La salle de bains na jamais été nettoyée, seulement les serviettes de bain ont été changées tous les jours.
