"Definitely NOT a real Wyndam property. Parking lines in lot faded – hard to tell where the spaces are. Random trash around property never picked up while I was there (weekend stay).
Arrived around noon. Was told early check-ins were not available, even though it did not look like there was very much occupancy the night prior. Came back at check-in time, FD was still not sure if there was a room available and ready. Did get a room – housekeeping had just finished when I got there. Was the only time I saw any housekeeping staff anywhere while I was there. Felt like overall their total staffing was minimal at best.
Stains on carpets and on walls in room. A random hole in the wall not properly filled & fixed. Furniture dated, dirty, and worn. No hot water during stay. Called maintenance – but water never got hot. Have to use QR code for internet access – don’t trust that option.
Pool closed for "emergency repairs". No access to fitness room. Hallways not vacuumed. Elevators went down – no directional signage or "Out Of Order" signs on upper levels. When I finally made it to lobby (after trying multiple stairways, several of which went directly outside instead of to the lobby) had to go through level 1 construction to get to lobby.
Breakfast barely met continental standards. Warm options consisted of hard-boiled eggs (still in their shells), soggy french fries, toast, and a couple waffle irons. Otherwise, some random pastries, apples, yogurt cups, Corn Flakes and Fruit Loops."
"This property was better than expected. After driving 9 hours I didn’t think about the condition of room just I wanted one. But upon walking in the room is was perfect. Very clean and spacious. The staff at the front desk was very helpful thru the stay. They recommended a great spot for souvenirs. I forgot there was free breakfast which was amazing. Hot items like biscuits and gravy and waffles, eggs sausage. It was an amazing stay if back in the area I will definitely be staying here again. "
"The hotel has a great history and is conveniently in the Omaha downtown district. Our stay was pleasant, but it seems to us the hotel has greater potential with more investment in the property. The fee for parking in the hotel parking lot was ~$30 / night and we found easy public parking on the street for $6 / day (9am - 9pm, no charge overnight or all day Sunday)."
