"This was, by far, the best hotel I stayed at in Tunisia — what an experience. We traveled with young children, and every single detail of our trip was perfect. The staff was so pleasant, accommodating, and really treated us like valued guests and friends. Nidhal, the Guest Relations Manager, was so helpful and really went above and beyond to help us plan our entire stay. On Christmas Eve, we missed an event in the lobby — they realized we were missing and sent our room a plate of chocolates and desserts from the event. That gesture says everything about how much they value their guests. Nidhal also helped us coordinate a babysitter, which was such a wonderful touch — available whenever we needed, and really allowed us to enjoy our evenings. The rooms were absolutely stunning, the desert views were so serene, and we loved having breakfast on the veranda every morning. The traditional hammam was so relaxing that I went every single day of our visit. We also truly loved the dining at Mekong — absolutely delicious and truly authentic. I have already recommended this place to all my family and friends, and will be visiting every time we go to Tunisia. Thank you so much for making our vacation so wonderful and relaxing."

"Bad customer service "

"The pool was freezing cold. The space in the room was super small and there was hardly any lights. The shower water was only slightly warm. The room needs some serious maintenance: door was squeaky and near breaking. Some of the walls plaster was coming off. Finally the Dar was really hard to find, hidden in a dark corner of the medina with no signs outside. The dar overall is nice but the rooms are overcharged for what you get. Breakfast is the same as usual across Tunisia. "

We were disappointed the restaurant was not available that evening as we had read good reviews. Our breakfast was very nice. We did not take advantage of the spa or hammam.
