"Our stay at Mövenpick Resort Waverly Phu Quoc has been nothing short of wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that made us feel at home. The resort is beautifully surrounded by lush greenery, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Whether we were enjoying the pools, walking along the clean beach, or taking the fun buggy rides around the expansive property, every corner of the resort was a joy to explore. One of our favourite daily highlights was the complimentary chocolate hour, a delightful treat that we looked forward to every afternoon! The foam party was another memorable experience, bringing smiles to both adults and children and adding a fun touch to our holiday. Their hospitality truly made our stay extra special. "Due to an issue with a damage passport, we were meant to be travelling to Indonesia, but unfortunately immigration would not let us leave Vietnam. We quickly had to come up with a Plan B and we chose to fly internally to the island of Phu Quoc. Quickly did some research and found Mangobay. A short taxi from the airport to little corner of paradise. We will found that Bali vibe. Stuff attentive and really friendly. The rooms are beautiful with both Aircon and fans. You are second walk from the beach. They have paddle boards and kayaks to use for free. A beach bar which is proper at at night with music. Breakfast in The Restaurant in the morning is wonderful. I have a selection of foods both hot and cold. At night they have a small outdoor cinema and the Restaurant for evening meal was fantastic, so much better than I expected. All in all I highly recommend Mangobay and wood definitely return."

"This was a really neat spot! If you’re a nature enthusiast I’d recommend. If you’re afraid of bugs/reptiles maybe not the best spot. We had a gecko living in our room who was quite vocal but we loved it! Could be scary for someone not accustomed to that sort of thing tho. The staff made it easy to rent bikes and the rooms were beautiful and very clean!"

Simple breakfast with varied options throughout the week in addition to the usual daily eggs/pancakes/fruit/pho. Value for money for the local area. Numerous good restaurants with in close walking distance and only a 5 minute walk to the beach - although relaxing pool area onsite too!"
