"Lovely refreshed painted room & very clean 😊 down side was the mixer tap wouldn't work so no shower but was able to have a bath. There was a leak from shut off pipe at rear of basin but didn't effect our stay"

"Wonderful location ,wonderful staff and excellent food. One real problem for me was the intense noise from the floorboards above. This wasn't creaks but near crashings! It is an old building but the noise from corridors is also significant. As this is a wedding hotel one night stays will be typical so guests won't be likely to comment. Two broken nights for me was enough. All that said I would stop again but perhaps the top floor!"

"Such a beautiful hotel with hidden old features, yet the rooms are very modern ! Air conditioning in the room and EV charging points- one don’t work but the staff were super keen to resolve the situation! Really couldn’t fault them . food was amazing, location so tranquil yet 15 minutes from Stafford city centre- will definitely stay again !!"

"The room was lovely and spacious, wonderful shower and nice and clean. The reception staff were lovely and helpful. The hotel is in a nice location, very quiet residential area. The bed was super comfy, so nice to have air con to regulate temperature in the heat. The breakfast was included with the room stay- it was pretty basic and seemed a bit disorganised. I wouldn't pay for it separately."
