Comfortable hotel room with good bed and shower/ water pressure. In-room Washing machine/dryer was a bonus. We could park our camper trailer and car underneath and felt that there was good security. The pub has great meals and the town is pleasant with a few activities to do including another restaurant, op shop and some great walks on the ocean. Brilliant sunrises and sunsets. A reasonable price and a lovely break from camping. Our ocean view room had a glimpse of the sea and the floors and bathroom could’ve probably needed a bit of a deep clean but it’s hard to get that red dust out of everything.

I was absolutely grateful that I booked a room after arriving in Onslow at 6am and I was able to check-in 10am at short notice. Due to listening to google maps which took me on a gravel road on my car, and turned my 3hr ttip into nearli 9hrs. So was very grateful for accommadating my request. Staff were very pleasant although being tired who I came across was helpful. Although it was just for the night, I do recommend ordering the Lamb Shank, Mash and Veg it was delicious and amazing top marks to all those who were involved in preparing the food. I ate in my room as I was'nt in a socialising mood and very tired. Overall I really am grateful for everything, I left some refreshments for those who want it. I will definitely be visiting in the near future preferrably for more than a night.👍🙏

Mick Dundee would feel at home here. Built circa 1920 and the original hotel or furniture has not changed one bit amazing place Outside restaurant very busy Food excellent Room adequate. Clean with a nice balcony back yard and sea view Onslow is a small place with not much accomodation With a beautiful beach and fabulous sunset Breakfast from 4am ….7am. Do t dilly dally An amazing place. Do not change it Of all the fancy hotels I stayed on in this trip this was by miles the one with original character

Liked the sea view from the second floor. Did not like having to climb 2 flights of stairs to reach the room. No lifts available. People can have medical problems which does not allow them to use stairs. You can request 1st floor accommodation but still have to climb atairs to get there.
