"The property is centrally located with sights, shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance and good links to public transport.
We had a de luxe studio which was clean, comfortable and well maintained. It was compact but with adequate space for two people for a few days. Because we were on a short break we went out sightseeing the whole day and out to dinner in the evening so we only had breakfast, but there was adequate equipment to make basic meals.
It was quiet at night.
After checkout lockers were available to store our luggage until it was time for our train.
The reception staff were helpful, professional and approachable."
"The room very clean, well maintained and a great 1 bedroom design with walk in closet. Love the design of the bathroom door. The room was also very quiet. The private underground parking was clean
All staff the we came across said hello with a smile. This is a well trained team.
Only caveat was the EV/PHEV charging required a subscription, which is not a big deal for our PHEV but may be for a pure EV"
"Delightful hotel, spotlessly clean, professional helpful staff. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. The sheer quantity of choice and quality of the food was outstanding. We enjoyed 3 nights there, and would not hesitate to return or highly recommend for a great stay!"
"The locals call this place The Palace and it is an exquisite hotel. Staff greeted us with prosecco and Belgian chocolates. Nice touch! Staff always smiling and extremely friendly. Highly recommend."
"Clean hotel, helpful staff. Note that the kitchen doesn’t have a toaster or microwave, so your food reheating options are limited to the induction cooktop. They did however have sharp knives (a rarity) so we could easily cut the apple and cheese we bought.
Two things on location: the hotel is not near either train station, and the cabs at the station will gouge you. We got nabbed for €25 euros when we arrived. However when we left, the lovely receptionist called us a cab - and it was €15, even split with another couple. Knowledge is power.
The hotel is close to a picturesque canal, and there’s a bridge across it right at the end of the hotel street. Do NOT cross that bridge and take that route into the centre of town, unless you want to endlessly trudge through the dullest streets in Gent. There aren’t even any bars to stop at for refreshment: I mean Dull. You’ll start to wonder why anyone goes to Ghent. However, at check-in the receptionist will give you a map and highlight an attractive, easy 20-25 minute route that puts you right in the centre of town. This route is perfect and cannot be improved. If someone you love looks at the map and says I see a better way, he is wrong. Throw him in the canal."
"The hotel was in a great location and close to many hood restaurants, shopping, and cafes.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed our stay. 😁

"I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The underground parking was easily accessed & check-in efficient & friendly (English speaking). The room was compact but comfortable with a good sized, comfy bed. I didn't hear any noise from other guests and the room temperature was easily controlled. Good TV as well. Didn't try the pizza advertised but will be returning shortly & will do then."
"Hotel placed near lots of lovely places to eat and see. Staff were very helpful, rooms easily accessable via the lift.
The room was clean and well maintained.
I felt secure in this hotel and in my room.
Breakfast had a good selection of foods, there was something for everyone."
"This was in an exceptional location. If you like the idea of being in an old part of town but prefer to stay in a modern hotel this is a great option. Easy to find, parking on site, helpful and happy staff and comfortable rooms."
