When I checked in the room had prior guest’s trash and the bed and bathroom smelled terrible. The couch had blood stains. Gave my laundry to be cleaned and it came back stinking like urine. The food was also bad.

I wanted to tell the cons. first 1.) Property is away from ooty town. You need ken vehicle 2.) You cant have outside food, you will be forced to eat hotel food, there are no any varieties and very pathetic taste and dishes. I will give 2/10 for food and its overpriced 3.) The road to this hotel from ootty is in pathetic condition 4.) Room service and e evrything closes by 10 so if you have party with friends and want something..no options as no outside food and no inside

View from the room is amazing , but the when we opened the washroom door there was a strange awful odor in the washroom, the in room dining menu sucks it’s barely any menu … the breakfast was good with so many options …. The staff were great in greeting , but the room lacks so many amenities, no iron , no hot water 24/7 , no fridge , on some occasions our room service was horrible we had to call like 3 times to enquire about the order ….. it’s barely a 3 star resort …..

Hotels.com should not advertise this hotel. Services are very limited. Place is not 1.6 Km from Ooty center. It is nearly 7 KM. Maps does have the right direction. I think i should be refunded part of my cost. Would not recommend to friends.

The property looks very pretty and has a nice view of the city. sadly our stay was a bit disappointing as we had chosen this hotel due to it having a spa. they never advised in advance that the spa was closed for renovation. so we payed a much higher price for a hotel that had no spa or internet. the internet did not work during our entire stay. considering some of the phones did not get a signal at the property, that mean being out of touch and not being able to research places to see. so overall a disappointing stay. the only bright side is that the staff was very nice. in the future the hotel SHOULD list on it's website that it's spa is not working. honestly if we had been not as nice customers we would have had a fit over the false advertising.

Sinclair's --- The Wort Ever Hotel in Ooty

The Worst Ever Stay in My Life... Its the Worst Hotel in the Entire Ooty I had been stayed in this hotel from 28.05.2019 to 30.05.2019. The Rooms are very dirty, washrooms are looks like pubic toilets. No cleanliness in the entire hotel, the entire hotel looks like a cost cutting museum. The Restaurant is the worst part of the hotel, F&B manager Mr. Andrew is arrogant & have no command on the daily upkeep & cleanliness of the hotel. Overall its the worst ever stay in my life. Dont book this Hotel .

Excellent location. Overpriced and the rooms need so much attention. For the price, not worthy. Service is really good and so is the food. Overall experience was good. Hope they seriously upgrade the rooms as they are really dull.

It was really a bad experience staying at Sinclairs.firstly the reception guy was unable to find the expedia voucher received from expedia.We waited for an hour before we could check in.On entering the room the bedsheets were all dirty and old.The pillow was too soft without any proper material in it .There were very less sockets and that too not working.The bathroom was quite small.Also to add was the disapoointing breakfast. It was a 2 star property at the rate of 4 star. Really a first time bad experience through Expedia.

Pathetic hotel except the scenery outside.

This hotel only looks good on the outside. Inside it’s crap and dirty. Beds are in horrible condition. Bathrooms are pathetic. Sinks only give u hot water and no warm water. When u shower, water leaks into the toilet and no soap holders. Hallways smell like toilet. One of the pathetic experience for me ever after paying 100$ a night.
