"Don’t let the outside of this property fool you - it looks like a dump. But my room was 90% renovated and very very nice. I say 90% because the Rodeway Inn curiously left the dated shower and shower hardware as-is, but the rest of the room was like brand new. And the property was super quiet. The value for my money was fantastic. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again. "

"This particular Microtel was clean, comfortable, and convenient and the hotel staff was very friendly and accessible.
We would stay here again when in the area.
.
Definitely recommend keeping the second lock on the door at all times because despite the "do not disturb" sign hanging on the knob, housekeeping let themselves in without knocking. Never had that happen before. "

"Lovely visit with a very interesting and charming host, beautifully appointed property in colonial style, we would stay again with pleasure. Breakfast in the dining room was homemade, generous and delicious. Well done Michael! "
"This bed and breakfast excelled beyond all expectations! The property is exceptionally beautiful with many historic features scarcely seen except in museums of great old houses. Our host couldn't have been more wonderful and he helped us out after a long ride on the Erie Canal Trail. The amenities were excellent. I would go to Fort Plain just to stay there again. Thank you!"
"Check in was easy and quick. The person at the front desk was friendly and professional. The room was much larger than I expected. It is clean and quiet. Nice motel."
"This accommodation worked great for us. Great location for a ride on the Erie Canal Trail. It isn’t a fancy place but has eating and antiques nearby. There is a working kitchen for those who want to cook or make coffee and a living area separate from bedroom. You will find a do it yourself bike shop area across the street in the mill across the street. There is no reception desk so go into the restaurant/bar below or the old stone mill across the street for information. The other thing to note is there are two flights of stairs to get to the room. It all worked for us."
"Overall, easy check in, organized neat and clean! Very well stocked Continental Breakfast and coffee/tea and soda in full supply. We would stay again for sure!! Thank you."
