The staff was kind and supportive, which I truly appreciated.
However, the booking experience was misleading. The hotel appeared to be fully booked with only a few king-size rooms available, which led me to assume that most of my event group was staying there. In reality, it seems certain areas of the hotel were unavailable due to repairs—not that the hotel was actually near capacity.
I also chose this hotel over our company-provided lodging specifically because it advertised having a usable available indoor swimming pool. I paid more for that reason. Unfortunately, when I arrived and got the kids ready to swim, I was told the hotel no longer has an indoor pool. This was very disappointing.
The website and listing need to be updated to reflect accurate amenities. This kind of misinformation impacts decision-making and guest expectations.
Expedia provided only a partial refund ($50 in rewards), which did not fully make up for the inconvenience.
