"A beautifully renovated barn with all the charm. We had a wonderful stay with our two young children and dog. Every aspect of the stay was brilliant. The barn was toasty warm, the kitchen stocked with all appliances, the beds comfy and the lounging area relaxing. There is also a great sustainable ethos with the stay. The host was super friendly and knowledgable about the local area. I highly recommend and we will be going again."

"Séjour fantastique, l' auberge est un vrai havre de paix, elle est magnifique, dans son jus avec des chambres très spacieuses un jardin qui lui correspond parfaitement et ce calme absolu on entend que les oiseaux. Concernant la cuisine, retrouver les plats authentiques avec une saveur que nous retrouvons que très rarement et à savoir qu'ils sont preparés qu'avec les producteurs des alentours. Top Orbey Hotel Reviews

Colmar Hotel

Colmar Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"If you want to stay by the train station, this is a great option. To get to old town/Little Venice on foot, it's about a 10-12 minute walk. Overall I was very happy with my stay, but there were a few oddities with the room. First, there are no black out curtains, so the entire time I was wondering if people in the parking garage could see into my room. Secondly, there's a red glass window between the room and bathroom, so I think you could put on an interesting silhouetted show if you're sharing the room. Third, the shower has no door, so the bathroom floor gets really wet (but they provide a big towel/rug to soak it up). Aside from those peculiar items, I was really happy with my stay. The bed was comfortable (although I hate throw pillows in a hotel room) and everything was clean. The hotel has a modern feel to it. The breakfast was outstanding. A large spread of food and drink options, plus great service. If you don't eat dinner in the old town (a lot of restaurants don't open until 7pm), I did not notice many options in walking distance of the hotel. One night I ate at a different hotel near the train station that was good. I would stay here again if visiting Colmar."
