"Had a great time at the mansion. Our room was well appointed and the breakfast well prepared and special. We never had anything for breakfast that we had had prior to our stay. The staff was outstanding and kept us well informed of the area and eateries. That last day we were served by the owner who knew his stuff. Each day we met with one staff member who guided us on everything we needed to see.
Be aware that the mansion is undergoing continuous upgrades as at times the work may seem awkward, but it never bothered us."
"The room was nice, great amenities. Pillows sucked, bed so bad it threw my back out for first time in my life and ruined my holiday weekend. Had to see a chiropractor first thing Tuesday morning, missed work and missed my holiday pay. But yeah, clean room, nice shower. Nice kitchen area in the room. Not worth what I paid for it."
"Room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Hotel staff were great, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices, even some dairy free milk was available."
"The breakfast included in the stay was a joke. They had 2 kinds of cereal and a couple of prepackaged muffins(not 2 kinds, 2 muffins). It was evident that the juice machine had been broken a while. They had a jug of milk and Sunny D. So if you are looking for. A place that includes breakfast, and this isn't what you want, I'd tell you are better off laying a little more and getting a real breakfast.
The room was "clean" however the decor is really old, some outlets didn't work, and the (non-smoking) room smelled like someone had chain smoked in it.
When we asked for more pillows at the front desk, the clerk acted like he didn't know where to find them."
"The general areas (halls, elevators, lobby, etc) are worn, dated, and dingy. The bathroom had broken tiles and the door was partially painted in two different shades. When I entered the shower and pulled the curtain shut, a washcloth fell down. I assume it was up there from the previous guest. yuk! In addition, the beds were noisy making it hard to sleep. The breakfast was not satisfactory with powdered eggs. The staff was very nice and friendly, especially the check-in clerk."

If you're concerned about a sanitised environment, holiday rentals can offer a sense of seclusion away from public hotel lifts and lobbies bustling with people while still allowing you a great travel experience. You'll also have more space in a holiday rental than in a traditional hotel, which is another reason why a holiday rental is a great option for families.
