"Returning to Paradise: Our Unforgettable Stay at D Maris Bay
There are places you visit once—and then there are places that call you back. For us, D Maris Bay is the latter. After a blissful stay in May, we knew we had discovered something extraordinary. So, we returned for another 10 nights, and once again, it was pure magic.
Nestled in a breathtaking corner of the world, D Maris Bay is more than just a luxury resort. It’s a sanctuary where nature’s beauty meets impeccable hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in serenity—crystal-clear waters, lush landscapes, and sunsets that seem to pause time.
But what truly sets this place apart is its people.
Every meal, every moment on the beach, every interaction with the staff felt personal and heartfelt. While we wish we could name everyone who made our stay so special, a few deserve a special mention:
• Rojda – A shining example of grace and kindness, always ready with a warm smile and thoughtful conversation.
• Muhammed – The soul of the lobby bar, whose charm and service made every evening memorable.
• Busra – Our popcorn girl (she will understand) and for doing absolutely everything possible to make our trip perfect. Always with a smile
• Yusuf – The friendly face at DD Scoop, serving up daily joy with every scoop of ice cream.
To the entire team—thank you. You’ve created a place that feels like home, only better. We left with full hearts and a promise to return again.

"The hotel itself is nice and in a perfect location if you’re looking for peace and quiet. It’s also within walking distance of a charming town centre (about 20 minutes at a brisk pace).
The rooms are on the smaller side, and the standard rooms without sea view are very dark, as they overlook a garden with a large tree blocking much of the daylight.
Breakfast is good, but if you’re staying for a longer time it becomes repetitive as it’s exactly the same every day. This is also the first hotel we’ve been to where we were charged extra for eggs, sucuk, omelettes, or menemen. Coffee wasn’t included with breakfast, and no water was served either, which felt disappointing.
The staff are helpful, but they often looked bored and were on their mobile phones a lot.
The beach definitely needs more attention – bins weren’t emptied daily, and on several occasions we found glass and even a dead bird, with no sign that the area was being checked regularly. Perhaps this was because it was the end of the season, but basic cleanliness should be consistent all year round.
Overall, the hotel is nice and has potential, but it does need some improvements to make the experience feel more polished and welcoming.

"Property and service is great. The road to get there is very bad. Once you arive its beautiful place. Quiet. Not much to do and no place to go. Good for resting and relaxing "
"Amazing surroundings pool and restaurant . Seems to me all the emphasis is at the restaurant where the food and staff are amazing, well done . The hotel not so much im afraid . I
booked a delux plus room for a 50th birthday celebration and messaged the hotel a couple of months in advance with a request for a nice room and to make it extra special, was literally given the worst room in the entire resort., next to reception and by the side of a road with lots of traffic and generator noise all day all night . Others have also mentioned this room being bad in other reviews. We was disappointed to say the least .
Complained to reception but they said they were fully booked and to try again tomorrow. The next day we tried again but the expected us to pay to upgrade to another room. Kept saying there fuly booked but didn't see more than a handful of other guests around.I'm sorry to say there is no personal touches here , no warm welcome no one to bring luggage to room , no one to order drinks from around the pool, no mangers on duty to speak with, its such a shame as the gardens and surroundings are stunning. For the price they are charging you expected a certain standard and it missed the mark completely. Better to just visit the restaurant and stay somewhere else , sorry "
