This 21 mile Ajo Mountain Scenic Loop is not to be missed. It took us about two and a half hours going very slowly. It’s a pretty rough graded dirt road, but well worth it. There are a few really nice picnic tables along the way. We took our dog, so we didn’t hike.

Sticking to the back roads today as we explore this amazing National Monument. This is the Ajo Mountain Scenic Loop Road. 21 miles in length and graded dirt.
