"We come once a year and we appreciate the location, the cleanliness and the friendly staff. We especially enjoy the balcony rooms facing the harbor. Rates in summer are generally very high (especially on weekends) so we tend to stay in the shoulder season and when offered special rates."

The bed was so comfortable and the room was spacious—except for the bathroom. The bathroom needs vanity space! "What a very special place this is. Wilfred and Vida are truly brilliant hosts. When we arrived they sat with us and had a lovely chat about the house and the area, recommended places to eat and provided lots of local intelligence. Tea and coffee is served in the room at 8am followed by a very generous and delicious breakfast. The two of them are a totally charming couple with their great sense of humour, stories and kindness They could give lessons on what true hospitality should be.
