The house was big, old but not well maintained. We loved the pool as it was clean, and the water was very good (not too much chlorine etc.). Everything else was mostly disliked
When we arrived at the property after check in time, a lady parked right next to my car and said she worked for the Company and wanted to step inside the property, take some pictures / inspect fully. I was quite surprised but let her in and she took about 10 mins inspecting. Then as we settled in, we found out that the back door facing the pool had a broken lock. We contacted support but it was a lot of to and fro communication without any fix that night. A repair guy showed up the next day by which time, I forcefully gave a thump to the lock and it magically worked. The guy didn't fix the lock even then as it "started working".
The master bedroom carpet had invisible nails in the floor which poked my wife's feet and my kid's multiple times. There was dust under furniture, some trash under the bed, TV stand etc. You can see the rust in the Toilet paper stand, extremely dirty patio in the second level, broken mesh screen in the attached pictures.
The first night made my wife feel very unsafe as the mesh door behind the pool that leads to the back side of the community was torn near the lock (someone had intentionally broken in from the back side in the past). Basically this property has been accessed by someone from the backside who got locked out in the past, and was never fixed till we checked out.
