"We loved this place which is an old farm, modernized to operate as a 2-3 bedroom B&B. Our room was good-sized with a sitting area, comfortable queen bead and great bathroom. We had a wonderful pre-arranged gourmet dinner with the owners, their adult daughter, and two family friends, family with lots of great conversation across three generations which continued at breakfast the following morning. We would love to make a return visit the next time we are in France."

"We wanted something special for our last night of our 2 week road trip and we found it. A lovely place off the main road on a farm. Very comfortable beds and because of the shutters we were able to shut out the early morning sun. So we got a very good night's rest. In the morning we were greeted by our host with a wonderful basket of croissant, bread and pain au chocolat which we were able to eat on the terrace at the back. Thanks you for making this a perfect end to our holiday."

"Good unbusy location: 5 mins from restaurants, 10mins from cathedral. 10mins easy walk from city station, short direct tram ride from Les Aubrais. Nice, if slightly squashed bedroom. Comfy bed. One of the most practical (and clean) bathrooms we've experienced. Reasonable breakfast, uncertain service. Ideal for a couple of days sightseeing."

"My wife and I stopped at Escale Oceania for an overnight stay on our way to Fontainebleau. It's located in a fairly central area of Orleans within easy walking distance of any shops/restaurants. The car parking was good and accessed through an archway into an enclosed parking area, which was a little uneven in places. It felt secure. We arrived about 3pm on a Sunday afternoon and there were plenty of spaces, although it had filled up by later in the evening. Our room was good, as was the continental breakfast. Would stay here again"

"What a lovely and characterful hotel this was. It’s central and there were good places to eat nearby as well as plenty of shops. The room had a great design and although the hotel is of its time without air conditioning and a lift, there was a fan in our room and all of this was made clear at the time of booking. We had considered Orleans a stopover on returning from Eastern France, but would now come to stay at this hotel again for its own sake. A lovely experience. The cost for dogs is 10 euros each per night."
