"We had a great view of the ocean and room was clean. We booked for a king bed and they upgraded us. However the upgrade was 2 queen beds. Not what we wanted. But like I said the view was great and staff was friendly "

"The room was just as pictured. The views were amazing. The property pool was heated and they have a nice hot tub. Unfortunately it had rained the entire second day we were there, and it never really heated back up before we left. But they kept the property clean and well maintained. I saw the pool guys there cleaning three times on our stay (could have been more). If I am back in Ormond beach again, I'll book with The Maverick Resort again! *One down side was ONE very unpleasant night desk lady, who worked our last evening there; when asked for assistance, she seemed irritated and bothered to have to do something. EVERYONE else was very pleasant!"

"From checking in to checking out was absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel in my life! I booked a room for two adults and two children during spring break. I’ve booked it early, so there would be no issues with the room. I call them about my reservation and they seem very nice over the phone. Tell me yes I have my room available. I get there and I am standing at the counter with no greet no acknowledgment acting like he didn’t even see me standing in there continued to do what he was doing took about five minutes and then he addressed me again not hi how are you? Do you have a reservation was my great. not very "

"Thought that it was a beach facing room but was not. Place is a time share property and not a real hotel Staff made me feel like i was an annoyance. Overall disappointing experience. Nice beach though. "

"The room was clean, no complaints there. Staff was very nice from check in to check out. Booked a beach view room with balcony or patio, was in room on ground floor so patio with access to pool.. beach view was nice. Parking limited but hotel offers additional options, this is going to be an issue at most hotels or motels in Daytona area so it was expected and not an issue. Only “problem” was guests directly above our room was stomping around (either children or parents chasing after children) - woke me up at 7am and after patiently awaiting them to leave or stop for an hour, called front desk who was very nice and noise stopped. I have never complained but it was extremely excessive - overall was happy with how it was handled. Have stayed here once before and would stay again. "
