We liked the easy access to pool & beach. Partial ocean view was perfect. Glass sliding door was very hard to open & shut. Coffee items were stale but enjoyed the big pot after buying our own coffee. Staff was very helpful & friendly. Thank you!

Had a great stay at Traders Inn. Stayed in the 1bdrm/1bth plenty of room for 2. They are older & took a lil beating during 2023 Hurricane season but for age & abuse I would have to say (at least room we had & a friends Murphy bed room) they were in good shape..the most amazing parts for me was the amazing breeze that comes in from the breezeway on your way to pool deck is flipping fantastic!!! Also the beach area is prefect for relaxing and getting lost in sounds of the waves!!! Sunrises are amazing & they even have a deck on 2nd floor that faces west for a great view of the sunsets..pool was huge (although not sure heater was working but was warm enough at beach that the cold was refreshing)...all in all a 100 win for a quick lil sun sand rest & restore..will definitely stay again & if your looking to stay now oceanfront rooms run a lil smaller but if you can manage with the space I would highly recommend it..I wanted to this trip but was 1st time so didn't know..next time I know it will be worth it!!

We liked how the rooms are very clean. Housekeeper is very friendly. Office staff wasn't all that. We were disappointed that we paid an high amount of money for our stay and we couldn't stay on the property after checking out. We wanted leave our car parked then walk to the ocean front from the hotel. Also they do not allow pool access after check out. It was a gate code, not key access, we already knew the code so it didn't make sense why we couldn't use the pool or even walk through the pool deck to the beach. The parking lot was almost empty and so was the pool when we checked out. My 4 kids was so sad. The stairs was so exhausting. Elevators is broken. We had a lot of stuff and small children to carry up and down the stairs each time.

Unfortunately, like most properties without a bar/restaurant, you cannot use the amenities or facilities once you check out and are no longer a guest. This is an insurance issue more than anything. This is also the reason that we frequently change the gate code. In our immediate area there are numerous parks and pull offs to enjoy the beach with your family. We apologize for not directing you and your family to those alternatives. This has been addressed with our staff. We are currently waiting on replacement parts to be installed in our elevator by our contracted vendor and hope to have it up and running safely in the next day or two. We apologize for the inconvenience it has caused you and your family. If you choose to stay with us again, and we certainly hope that you will, please contact us and we will ensure that you get the best rate possible.

All the cooking appliances are updated. Room was cozy- with all the comforts of home. Great room lay-out. Grocery store- restaurants- fast food all close by. This property is also a time share.

Ocean view from balcony - gorgeous! Property is a little bit worse for wear, though room was very clean and well provisioned. Coin op laundry worked fine. They had elevator issues during my stay. I paid top dollar because it was Bike Week and rooms were scarce. For 250 a night I’d like something a little nicer!

Wonderful views! The check out time is too early.
Wonderful location. I had an ocean view room with a balcony & a Murphy bed. The room was super clean & the view was fantastic. I wish the office area had coffee & fruit or something for breakfast. Fortunately , it’s near restaurants & markets. I also wish the check out time wasn’t so early, 10:00am. It doesn’t give you much time to enjoy the location. The bed & bedding could have been more comfortable & soft, especially the pillows.

Check-in was easy. They let us in the room early which was convenient. The room is nice with a large refrigerator, a stove, microwave, and pots and pans with dishes, like a time share. Seems like it is great for snowbirds and it's right on the beach with a pool. There are places to eat all around as well a Publix very close. We're only here one night but it beats a regular hotel room by a mile.

This place has everything you need, whether it be for one night or weeks. I found this place because it was well within our budget, and it was in a very quiet location. As it’s not a typical hotel, we were fortunate to double check the check-in time- which ends at 8. It’s a place where people stay long term usually, so we saw the point of that.

Really impressive quality for the money Staff keeps property spiffed up Easy beach access. Easy everything access Fairly well stocked kitchen. Property is mostly a timeshare that rents out unused units No hard sell which was appreciated I’ve paid twice as much for half as decent. Kudos We stayed midweek after school started for the peace and quiet. Friday night brought a new crowd and all the inherent noise. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and didn’t trash the place.

A Jewel on the Beach
As one of the reviews I read in choosing this property said she hates to tell everyone how great and special it is because then when we want to book again, and I will, there won't be a room available. We had a very special, laid-back, visit to Ormond Beach and this facility made everything perfect. We will be back. All the personnel were very nice. The kitchen is equipped very well. Housekeeping does a wonderful job. Communication is just right.

Staff in office extremely rude. Didn’t charge us right price upon check in. Some how we ended up with $ 2.25 in our favor. Then asked for it upon check out and accused me of knowing that I was under charged which I did not. Omg $2.25! It isn’t the money, no big deal it is the principle of it and has never happened to me on Hotels.com before. The property has gone downhill. Threadbare sheets, water damage tiles which kind of hung down in the bathroom. Water damage on the bottom of the bathroom door. Uncomfortable beds! Very dirty elevator. And the gate code to pool did not work most of the time we were there so other guest would have to let you in. When we arrive and got up to our room, keys wouldn’t work. They gave us the wrong ones. Which isn’t that big of a deal but when you have to use the restroom it was very inconvenient. The view is amazing and the price is good but management has changed and this was an unpleasant stay compared to our other two or three!

Edward, I am sorry you had such a bad experience. Looking at your rental history, Management has been the same. We want you to have the best stay possible. The issues brought up will be addressed with the appropriate Supervisors. As far as the $2.25, the clerk at check in did not charge your card correctly. This was discussed with your wife via the phone. You were charged exactly what was quoted by Hotels.com. The mattresses are new, I am sorry it was not comfortable. We hope you give us another chance to make it right, and also always please report any issues during your stay so we can fix them.

Could use a class in empathy and human compassion
After driving two hours with 3kids I arrived a little under an hour before check in. The woman at the front desk refused an early check in- which I understand but an exception to use the beach and pool area while waiting for the room was also ruled out, talk about no compassion for a mama with her kiddos. Thanks for making my three kids wait an extra 50 mins for no reason!! Crazy. The woman also referred to me as “this lady” when asking a male coworker to explain their check in policy to me. This is a timeshare property which I was considering because we are relatively local. I guess disappointment is the word to describe how I felt. Wasn’t even busy.

I am very sorry for your disappointment. Unfortunately our policy is no check-ins prior to 3pm. This is on all of our confirmations and check in documents. This is for guest safety as floors can be wet, carts are in the way as well as to ensure our staff can clean the rooms as quickly as possible without interruption. I understand how from your perspective it was not busy, but our Staff was quite busy. We will as the Board to re-evaluate the utilizing the pool and beach access prior to check-in.

Overall everything was ok but the most important part was disappointing. The bed was very uncomfortable and the sofa be was only springs covered in thin plastic. I felt horrible for my kids. Brought a small air bed so that at least one of us can have some comfort. The view was nice but it didn't replace the comfort.

Very affordable good quality rooms and area. The only complaint is some of the windows in partial ocean view rooms face highway A1A, The Harleys are loud and are going down the road regularly. At night I was awaken by them. If you are a light sleeper bring earplugs and sound machine and you should be fine. My daughter had a full ocean view room and didn't hear any noise but relaxing sounds of the ocean. None of those windows face the highway.

It was great to see the beautiful beach and have a comfortable sleep the staff was great and responsive to our needs Mark was excellent in responding to the minor issues with the toaster and phone and fridge. The position of the fridge needs to be adjusted so that the door of the fridge can close easily
